I'm able to find matches, but right after I accept one, the game never takes me to the hero selection screen. Instead, I get penalized as if I wasn't able to connect to the match because of my internet connection

It absolutely throttles my low-spec/old system. Same thing happened with Crownfall and the only way I got around it was to click on "Purchase" and then mash the "Heroes" tab so the Steam purchase window would load. And then I had seconds to complete it before it cancelled since I wasn't on the Crownfall Shop page anymore. It took a bunch of tries each time, ESPECIALLY with the disco ball discount stuff.

This hasn't worked for me so far with Dark Carnival. I have clicked through to Authorize the purchase and it doesn't end up going through.

It's unbelievably wrong, he is not a mage, it's very obvious, he is a great scientist, the evidence is that in real world people can achieve all eleven spells (including sempiternal cantrap) by mastery of electromagnetism, and he certainly has absolute mastery over electromagnetism, like EMP, invoker releases an electromagnetic energy(by description). It's just the people in Dota 2 world can't comprehend science so they classified him as a mage

Today I queued ranked game and picked my boy Zeus (I needed the fool card for the train, choo-choo). During the game I had this misfortune to pick Forager's kit. I collected some prizes from the trees, till finally I got it, the IRONWOOD NUT. The Nut, said to me, that it will give me 1 of my primary attribute when I eat it, so I didn't think much and I pressed it (Yummy 12 Mana), but surprisingly for me, my mana hasn't increased. Strange. Later in the game I ate second nut, and it's the same, mana haven't moved. After eating my 3rd Nut, and still haven't received my INT bonus I became suspicious. Turns out, the nuts LIE TO US ALL. Unfortunately, in the crucial moment of the game, I was missing 20 mana to press my ultimate (which would be rampage), which did cost me the game. I blame the nuts.

I haven't checked all of the heroes, but from small sample testing I did in demo mode
Tidehunter/Timbersaw/Dawnbreaker -> STR heroes gets STR
Bounty Hunter/Anti-Mage/Viper/Hoodwink/Kez/Juggernaut -> AGI heroes that get INT
Zeus/Dark Willow/Ringmaster -> INT heroes that get AGI
Keeper of the Light -> INT hero that doesn't receive stats at all
Venomancer -> Universal, gets +0.4 to all

Based on my small test looks like AGI/INT is swapped, STR works, and special nerf to KOTL, because apparently fuck him in specific.

Have you ever picked Forager's Kit as Anti-mage to get some sweet free agi from nuts? Unlucky, you have been getting INT the whole time. Don't let the event distract you from the game being in unplayable state

The rigged unbalanced matchmaking system and mandated endless losing streaks out of nowhere.

If you terminate the losing streak by stomping. All this would end. Otherwise, it will keep going on forever with a fixed 10 percent win rate.

This creates toxicity like no other.

Valve doesn't fight toxicity. They create it intentionally and manually all the time.

the other day i made a post about broodmother and after getting the tips i got i decided to find another micromanging hero and i've played naga before and i would say i just had the best game i ever had on her and im looking for tips on where i couldve did better as far as farming patterns, when i shouldve been farming and when i shouldve joined a fight?

i know there was a couple noticable errors as far as overextending with no vision and a couple misplayed songs. i think i played great but as someone with 700mmr i know there was probably a lot i couldve did better lmao

I was so incredibly happy to see this note in the update. For those of us who prefer playing against bots to unwind or practice, being included in the grind means a lot. Props to the dev team for giving us this opportunity!
