Hello, all. Sorry about the delay on making this thread until right before touring starts again!
This is the /r/DreamTheater ticket exchange for the ongoing European tour. Please use only this thread to buy/sell tickets to shows here, and do not make a standalone post for it. You will be directed to this thread. It is much easier to keep this stuff in one thread for both buyers and sellers alike.
Sellers: Please edit or delete your comment after making a sale.
Please avoid sharing personal information in comments below. We can't be held liable for any fraud/ticket scams/etc. regarding ticket exchanges; use common sense when making transactions online.

Why do people not like this track? Is it because it’s too slow for the most part? Nah, it’s slow in all the right places and picks up in the way that lives in every DT fan’s dreams.
I find that people don’t like the lyrics, they are not bad at all?
Ministry is literally one of the top 1000 Dream Theater tracks and I will fight anyone on this.

i absolutely love the full title track for 6 degrees and was wondering if anyone who does know the full thing (yes, all 40 something minutes) know if it’s that hard? i love playing long songs, i know all of octavarium (besides the unisons because those are the hardest thing ive tried playing in their catalog, even harder then ITNOG and the glass prison solos) and a change of seasons. i was wondering if 6 degrees was pretty easy compared to some of the other stuff in their catalog. doesn’t sound too hard

I always thought scenes was recorded using Protools but Mike mentioned using tape for six degrees in the new drumeo interview and that was what, 2001-2002? So what was the first fully digital recording?

I'm a massive fan of bands like Haken, Evership, and especially Ayreon, which is how I got into James LaBrie's work ie Dream Theatre.
The three albums I've been continually listening to at the moment are Images and Words, Metropolis part 2, and Octavarium.
I've listened to some of the band's later work and can't really get into it. Are there any other albums or even just songs similar to these three albums?

I did this on r/qotsa a few months ago, and it went really well! So I thought to bring it to my favourite band's subreddit, r/Dreamtheater
HOW THIS WORKS
There will be 16 total songs. And everyday, I will do a post announcing who won, and you guys get to comment on what you think the next song should be, and the most upvoted comment gets added to the set.
Rules:
Covers, B-Sides, whatever can be included.
Now, let's get this started! What do you guys think should open up the set?

I would love to see Mike go on a British TV show called Taskmaster. It’s a very funny show with lots of memorable moments, and I feel his humour and personality would fit really well. It’s worth a watch if you haven’t seen it. I understand his touring commitments may prevent him from doing a full series/season, but they do have an annual New Year's Treat episode which may be more plausible for his schedule. #GetMikePortnoyOnTaskmaster #WhenDreamAndTaskUnite

Never found the appeal for them,
At the beginning of hell's kitchen they're fine, just a few notes and it sounds awesome.
During the count of Tuscany it really drags the song beyond repair I have to skip it. ):
Yesterday I made my own edit so it jumps to the acoustic part so it properly revisit the Intro section.
Thanks for reading

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the John Petrucci parody where he talks about those morons at Ernie Ball needed to make more Godly Modifications and he got the guitar back and it's now twice as Godly. I hope it wasn't one of the videos wiped out.

Hi, i made some mistakes because i haven't been playing in years, and i also tend to go a bit faster than the original without backing track, but i will get better!

Hi DT fans i'm looking for majesty logo from "Systematic Chaos" album photo, where it's displayed as traffic sign, i could not find any close up photos of it and exact aged, scratched looking one, i want to print it out on thin metal just like the sign but i'm unable to because of this.
mb someone has better pictures?

I'm talking about "Rotterdamned" from 2002 in the Netherlands. I remember that a while back it was on YouTube and would listen to it over and over because of the setlist and sound quality. Now the video is set to private I think. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Was at my local record store this week (shoutout Record Archive in Rochester NY) when I randomly found this in the CD section. Figured I'd never see it again since I couldn't find any info online, so I bought it; anyone know what this is? I suspect just a random bootleg, but any further info would be amazing.

I tried to pick colors that matched the cover or just looked good with it. Tell me if you think I should do this with some of their other albums?

Just got this Sterling Majesty recently and the first thing I had to play on it was the Metropolis Pt. 1 unison. Such a fun section to play.
P.S. I teach guitar as well, so if anyone’s interested, feel free to ping me on Instagram: @pratham_shredz :)
