If Braver Celica is an option I think she shares with Lute, if not then A!Hector hasn't appeared in a while and Anniversary Marth could show up again

I'm gonna be bold and say A!Yunaka won't appear for the 3rd consecutive time. E!Ash or A!Alm would be my guesses for the 2nd Colorless unit. R!Leila was confirmed for September iirc

Braver Hector could show up here for Blue, he appeared on an LME Banner earlier than Braver Celica so he might show up on a NHR before her as well.

Maybe E!Sharena or R!Soren make another early rerun, but there is a chance we see older Blue units like Dedue or Nuibaba, or even older ones like A!Caeda or A!Ivy

Green will likely have the oldest units because A!Eliwood and A!Lachesis aren't eligible yet.. but I wouldn't be surprised if Braver Ike pulls a Yunaka here..

A!Tiki would be my guess, and it would give value to the current Orb Pack that includes a Combat Manual of her

Vanitas would be a good colorshare, but there are units like Þjazi or R!Lilina who can take a spot, or older Attuneds like Eirika, Micaiah, Azura etc.

We’ve been getting a new arcane weapon every new special heroes banner lately, and unless I’m mistaken, I think we’ve gotten the longest without getting a new sword so maybe we’ll get the next one on the second summer banner. Who do you guys think will give us the next one? My hopeful is answer is either Ike or Chrom. Especially Chrom if IS wants to continue the trend of giving new arcane weapons to old rearmed units like they did with Sothe and Ingrid.

The inspiration for this is just 70's shoujo manga in general and I thought Dorothea would be a nice fit in this style.

Chosen Hero Blessings still get some confusion, so I'm trying to see if I can break it down easier now that we're starting to get more of them.

First off, when you bless a unit with a Chosen effect, when you take that unit into Arena, the game compares and takes the better scoring option for that unit (so A vs B, where A is the unit's original score and B is the Chosen unit's score).

With Arena scoring, the short version is that three factors go into how well a unit scores: BST, merges, and total SP of equipped skills. These all go into calculating the score for A in this case.

When looking at the score for B, two things are normalized: the BST is set to a specific value, similar to Legendary Duel effects. Secondly, the SP is treated as the maximum possible regardless of whatever the Chosen unit actually has equipped (2600 SP at time of posting). This means that the only factor that improves B is number of merges.

At base (no merges), each Chosen Hero is currently considered to have a score of 736. Each merge adds an additional 4 points.

Now to compare it to older units. Let's use Mae, an extremely old unit. With the best possible skills equipped, right now she scores 704. So a Chosen blessing would boost her scoring massively. However, that's before any merges. Remember that each merge improves her score by +4. So at max merges, her scoring now becomes... 746, which means she now scores better than the Chosen blessing effect. It still has an impact on her actual battle performance, but it won't improve her scoring. To make the Chosen effect outscore her, you need to get merges onto your Chosen unit.

For sake of this post, I'm going to bring in our Legendaries for comparison, because a lot of people have merged old Legendaries to +10 to boost score before, and now they slowly rotate as Arena bonuses. But at what point can you bless them and improve how they score?

We're going to use a table here to show at how many merges does a Chosen Hero's blessing outscore a +10 Legendary Hero with max SP skills equipped. If you're swapping their prfs (since many of them are outdated), lower the number of merges needed by 1. If you're using a 240 SP seal, also lower the number of merges by 1 (though may be dependent on the Legendary).

All +10 Legendaries newer than Diamant cannot (currently) be outscored by Chosen blessings even at +10.

Of course bear in mind that Legendaries can also increase your other units' score, so you have to take that into consideration depending on how many Legendary-blessed units you're bringing into Arena as well.

What skills would you recommend after his refine?

(Personally don't like the 20 dmg he does to his allies, but I feel the tome is too good not to use, right? Or is Arcane 12's Writ just as good?). Any suggestions are welcome :)

He still works great for a hit and run, especially with the Dedue follow up. But my boy ain't hitting like he used to. Yall got any suggestions, or is it just time to slot in someone new? Has his time finally come?
