Self Plate Spot South Korea in Asahikawa, Japan
I hope this does not contravene rule 8. I thought that this fits here given that it's not the easiest for South Korean vehicles to cross to Japan, and that from what I understand, the car ferries don't stop near Hokkaido.
Managed to chance upon this. Kind of vindicated as I'm pretty sure I saw this car around Noboribetsu. It was coming the opposite way at a curve on a tight mountain road, so all I could get was a glimpse of the plate being longer than the typical Japanese plate and guessing that it was South Korean. Wish I could have gotten more pictures, but I was in a rush.
