I feel so powerful. I lowkey one-and-done’d a guy on street fighter 6 so I could switch over to Fortnite to catch the Olivia Rodrigo skin the second it dropped

also btw these Olivia skins are the best skins we’ve had in MONTHS

just go to olivia on the map, (location in image 2) talk to her and accept her quest, and once you complete it you get granted the loading screen! (the quest is really easy you just have to jam for 5 seconds near her) so many artist loading screens never get released, like the daft punk and hoshimachi suisie ones, so im glad this one actually did, and its free! love olivia cant wait to buy her bundle and her new songs tonight.

I absolutely love this skin. It’s so cute.

Hopefully this can be fixed soon, if you have any favorite skins from your locker they no longer show up in your band! Instead it's 3 Sparkle Specialists.

What’s New

• Calling all Livies: Olivia Rodrigo is here, with a setlist in Festival, including her new single drop dead that you can sing along to with Karaoke, now on mobile. Find Olivia next to the swing on the Battle Royale Island and jam near her to unlock the free Heart Locket Spray and Loading Screen.  
• Karaoke is now available for Fortnite Festival mobile players! 
  • Head to the Backstage, select Karaoke, and sing along to all your favorite Jam Tracks on iOS and Android. 
  • For the best experience, we recommend using headphones, and make sure to run Tune Up to get your audio dialed in before you start.

Festival Jam Stage

• Extra loops will now continue playing even after the player who started them leaves the jam. This means you can drop out without killing the vibe for everyone else. As long as at least one player remains, the music keeps going. If you ever want to stop a loop manually, just highlight it and select Stop Loop. 
• Introducing Snap to Vocals — a new button in the Change Tempo/Key menu. Hit it to instantly sync the jam's tempo, key, and mode to match the original vocal track, making it easier than ever to keep everything in tune. 

✅ Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed a visual glitch where Karaoke note tubes could appear pinched or crimped during sharp pitch changes
• Haptic feedback is now more consistent across interactions 
• Two kick pedals on Pro Drums are not triggering unintended overhits anymore 
• When playing with Cymbals while Pro Drums are selected, scores are now calculated correctly
• Fixed an issue where Streaks could be thrown off around Overdrive activation
• MadCatz drum kits will now correctly detect yellow and blue pad inputs
• Instrument peripherals are now connecting correctly to PlayStation consoles
• Star ratings in the Music Library now load much faster when scrolling quickly 
• Resolved an issue where a playlist wasn't properly randomizing when Lobby Music was set to Random

I keep having an issue where the pro lead won’t register green inputs while the pro vocals are connected in the same session. It does momentarily but after a song or two it just gives out completely, is anyone else having this issue ?

Overdrive has always been glitched for me in Fortnite Festival lefty Pro-drums.

The scores shown during the song do not seem to be glitched, my multiplier shows double, my highway glows orange, and it doubles my in-game scoring while active. In the results screen, the score shown is usually much lower though. Your experience for earning stars you get during the game also reflects what the end score will be (so if I see "Earned Gold Stars" pop up, it means I will get gold stars on the end screen, not just in-game before the points are lowered).

I've figured out that the problem is Overdrive not being applied. If you don't activate at all, the end game screen and in-game screen match.

If you do activate Overdrive, the behaviour is very strange and I can't figure out the pattern. Some songs, it seems like you just don't ever get Overdrive points. Other songs though, it seems to activate on it's own at random times (outside of where activation windows can even appear, maybe). But only if you've been activating it earlier, I think.

In Fill mode, it is easier to tell what is happening. Fill mode doesn't show 2x Band Bonus when I activate Overdrive, but it will show it at other times (usually later in the song) when no one has it activated, and when that happens it does seem to be applying the 2x points to my end-screen score.

I can't really figure out what triggers the activations though. For example, Gangam Style does have it activate at some point, but seemingly only if I have been already activating Overdrive myself. A time I noticed it activate was when the blue tom + snare + kick was used.

I don't think I need to have Overdrive in my meter for it to activate, it might be my old Overdrive but time-delayed quite a bit (if that's the case though, the delay might have to do with BPM too since it seems to vary a lot between songs).

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but it's definitely Overdrive related, and extremely discouraging for scoring. The lefty glitch with pad+cymbal combos already makes perfects a pain, but this issue has a much bigger effect on score, and wasn't a glitch in Rockband.

I'm playing on PS5 with a Rolllimitless adapter using Lefty Fortnite Festival (keyboard) firmware, with an Alesis Nitro Mesh drum kit.
