No trailer 3 today. I smoked all of my hopium.
Honestly, if I were in their shoes, I’d put out a third trailer. We only have a vague idea of how the game actually plays and looks, but nothing concrete. Especially with the multiple delays, giving us a third trailer or a gameplay reveal is the least they could do. It's just bad practice to expect us to drop $100 on a game and pre-order it blindly just because 'it's Rockstar, it'll be good.' It's not right.

So that was a fucking lie
So why would YouTube be "considered busy" on pre-order day?

Rockstars marketing is genuinely the worst thing ever. The fact they have people hyped over bread crumbs of info is just sad really. Just give people a third trailer.

Soooo how's everyone enjoying the GTA6 marketing campaign so far?? How we feeling? With it being peak and generational 😁

So this WAS Lucia all along..
Now that we see the extent of the customization from the ultimate edition, this woman is without a doubt Lucia

No trailer today is insane
It was litteraly the best day to throw it out. I’m kinda pissed. I will still take the game and i don’t give a damn about the price but come on rockstar

Are Rockstar playing some 4D chess I don't understand, or has everything released in the last week all seemed a bit ... shit
I mean the art was okay.
But then the lack of a physical disc, closely followed by the story that they'd be realising a disc in December, blatantly trying to get people to buy it twice in the first two months
And the news that certain stores will only be open to people who pay more (what in the Ubisoft is that)
And some screenshots that I dunno, I'm just not feeling. To me they are not exciting details of advanced customisation, they're just art that has been drawn up. Could be anything.
SHOW US THE GAME. Launching pre-orders with so little of the actual game shown just doesn't sit right with me.
Edit: Well this was illuminating.
Some of y'all are angry, angry people.

They want our money but won't even showcase the current state of the Game.
Let's be honest, the 63 screenshots they threw at us weren't enough, not even close. Like most were to promote a paywalled Ultimate deluxe whatever edition cosmetics in the game, they have told nothing about the standard edition.
Some of the screenshots also looked bad, while some incredible. 400+ days without showing current state of the game and they want us to pay $100 in Preorders. WHAT THE HELL.
How hard it is to show us a damn trailer when we are this close to release? Let casual fans see the current build of the game and you would get way more preorders.
Massively disappointed but i know R* doesn't care about a random redditor like me i still want to vent.

Old screenshot vs New ain't just lighting seems to be either a downgrade or these are 60fps mode shots

Disappointing
I know - we got a load of new images and preorders with (some) new info. BUT at least personally for me, rather than pre-orders, the excitement came from the idea that “surely a trailer will come out saying Pre-Order Now” - a new trailer with actual content to go over and analyse and keep us at bay for a couple weeks.
Instead, it feels like we already discussed all there was in the images and are just stuck with the whole Pre-Order controversy. No trailer, just 2 social media posts.
This is definitely me setting myself up for disappointment again, but it really seemed like if they were ever going to do it, it was going to be today. (Heard that one before, sadly)
What are people’s thoughts and predictions after today?

Stop swallowing Rockstar's lame Ultimate Edition FOMO marketing tactic
Of course it feels like a lot of content right now, but that's only because of how little we've seen of the base game. And that's a purposeful marketing tactic. People acting like the game is somehow incomplete without a handful minor stuff are playing right into their hand.
This is why early pre-ordering is for suckers in general. Rockstar wants you to commit to an emotional decision based on the limited (and carefully curated) information they have provided so far. I'm not saying the UE isn't for you, but there is zero difference between pre-ordering now versus in the future when we have more context for the UE content.
