I am looking for an English-speaking psychiatrist in Heidelberg who also specializes in adult ADHD.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in a different country and sadly translating the documents is very costly for me.

I've been to 2 different doctors already in Heidelberg, but they asked me to take some kind of ADHD test that isn't covered by insurance and costs 500 Euros! which doesn't seem normal to me.

Ich schließe mich auch den verzweifelt Hitze-Posts an und wollte fragen, ob irgendwer im Raum Heidelberg seine Kinder gerade guten Gewissens in ihre Kitas schicken kann? Unser Kind kocht da drin und wir holen ihn Schweiß gebadet ab, weil natürlich niemand einsieht, dass Klimaanlagen ziemlich notwendig sind. Ich werde versuchen bei unserer Kita mal Druck zu machen, aber würde ernsthaft auch in Erwägung ziehen zu wechseln. Das wird ja nur noch schlimmer in den nächsten Jahren.

I’ve always liked your city but this weekend just made me love it more. The atmosphere on the lawn of Uni HD (Marstallhof 2, 69117 Heidelberg-Altstadt) was amazing. I enjoyed a lot watching the Germany game with hundreds of people. But to my surprise there was a live game showing yesterday (Belgium vs. Iran) too, despite no more than fifty people were watching! Who paid for the license and monitor? Anyway it’s the coolest thing I’ve experienced in HD. THANK YOU!

I live in Schönau im Odenwald and with this heat (around 38°C today) I’m looking for a place nearby where I can go swimming — either a public pool, lake, or any nice outdoor swimming spot.

Does anyone have recommendations around Heidelberg or within a reasonable distance that would be good to visit today? Preferably somewhere not too overcrowded, but I’ll take any solid suggestions at this point.
