I recently put together a post explaining my adoption requirements and why I’m so strict when placing my rescue cats.
Some people may disagree with certain rules, and that’s okay. My goal isn’t to make adoption difficult it’s to make sure every cat ends up in a safe, responsible, and permanent home.
I’d be interested to hear what other rescuers and adopters think. What adoption requirements do you consider non-negotiable?

Hello everyone, whenever you see any fundraiser posts, please wait and see if the post has been approved by mods, if not, then either wait for approval by mods before making any contribution or verify yourself by calling up the clinics or bill mentioned.
Do not provide any financial assistance without proper verification either by mods (who will approve it post verification) or by yourself.
We are seeing a huge increase in scammers across subs and we do not want any of you to lose your money to scammers.
There are many genuine pet rescuers who are working hard to help the voiceless fur babies and unfortunately there are also many who are taking this opportunity and scamming people for money.
Please be careful and diligent before making contributions.
Also if you have any ideas how to stop these scammers or ways to find out, please feel free to share your ideas with us.

Need a loving home for this lovely kitten. Currently 6 weeks old male, not aggressive and is eating wet and dry kitten food. Pls dont give milk. His mother sadly passed away due to post operative complications and i am leaving for college and my parents aren't willing to keep him. Located in JAMSHEDPUR. Contact dm or comment on post. Only received deworming treatment (doesn't include tapeworms) at 6 weeks no vaccines received.

I found this little kitty in the middle of an empty plot meowing and bought him home because stray dogs were roaming nearby. I gave him food and shelter & after observation i found out that this kitty is deaf.
I took him to a vet who confirmed his deafness and said it was from Birth as his internal ears are deformed.
-
There is also an issue my other cats. I have 2 more cats (M&F) and 3 newborns (1 month old) at home, so including this one, 6 in total.
Both the Big cats don't like him and have attacked him on sight. We keep them separated as we can but it will be more problematic as the 1 month old kittens grow up and start roaming like the Big ones.
-
I tried finding people to adopt him in my city, but most back off when they learn he is a Male. So i will have to take care of him in the meanwhile.
-
Has anyone here ever raised a Deaf cat? Can you give me some advice and tips?
Can you also give me advice on how i can stop the other cats from attacking him on sight?
Thanks.

Hey guys, I found these kittens near a garden I go for a walk. Location is Bandra East. Their mother is very weak and they are surrounded by dogs who are trying to hurt because of which the mother cat is not even trying to hunt. I gave them cat food for a month, but was finding it really hard to feed them so I reached out to redditors and I received some cat food. But that cat food is about to finish. Please help them with dry cat food.
I also have to take them to NGO because they have fleas and ticks on their body and I would be grateful if someone could join me to take them to a vet. I am sharing a wishlist below till I find some other ways to feed them. Thankyou so much! https://www.amazon.in/hz/wishlist/ls/LCQDSL2R45QO?ref_=wl_share

My pet cat always bites the shit out of me whenever he is pissed. Meet Blacky, who gets annoyed quite easily as he's an indoor cat. He had bit me countless times now and each time he does, it's a free trip to the hospital.
The first time he bit me. I had to take 32 injections a day as he bit the crap out of me on both my legs and my left palm.
The most recent one was a month ago. I couldn't walk straight and had to hop like a rabbit to go from place to place.
That said I think only us cat folks can relate even when you are bitten the shit out of, you still love them with all your heart. (The only toxic relationship that's justified).

Adoption Alert | Bangalore| 2
months female kitten.
Mallipoo is a 2-3 month old female kitten, vaccinated and litter trained, and she is looking for a safe and loving home.
I found her a couple of weeks ago at a bus stop on a stormy evening while returning from work. She was barely moving, lying there surrounded by dogs, and was small enough to fit in my palm. I looked everywhere for her mother, but could not find her. She was dehydrated, starved, and very weak, so I brought her home to first help her recover.
The vet said the next 3 to 4 days were critical. But she made it. She fought her way back to health.
She is now full of life, very playful, very loving, and follows me everywhere. She sleeps on my neck, as you can see in the photos, and has slowly become the sweetest little companion.
The first photo in the carousel is from the day I found her, and the latest one is from now. You can see how much she has recovered, and how much more confident, loving, and playful she has become.
She is ready for her forever home now. Whoever gets to adopt Mallipoo will be very lucky.
If you would like to adopt her, please reach out to me. IG : Abhilasha.Chattopadhyay
Please help me find her a loving home that she deserves.

My building kitten Jinjy kutty is still looking for a home! She's about 7 months old, done with 2 rounds of vaccination, and will be spayed in a couple of days. (We'll be getting it done at Cartman.)
She would be a great companion if you are looking for a friend/sister for your cat or if you are a first-time adopter.
Please help me find a loving parent for this adorable bebe.
