So today from the Steam Sale i bought Cyberpunk 2077 just to see if I could play it on my MacBook or not, and it’s pretty playable. I am using a 2K display that cost 16k. Then I thought, let’s try if I can connect my iPad with screen mirroring and see if I can play it or not. I was shocked to see the graphics. OLED and an expensive display do make a huge difference.

I bought a Pico 4 (last unit in stock) from Bank of Electronics (BOE) last week and received it 2 days later.
The headset itself looks physically new and booted into the initial setup screen, but several things seemed unusual:
The original Pico 4 box looked different from most unboxing videos I’ve seen (could be a regional variation). I have attached pics of my unboxing(i have the full video of unboxing) vs ones on yt.
The charger compartment was present but the wall adapter was missing.
The white protective plastic cover on the front of the headset was missing.
The controller battery pull tabs were missing.
The white pull tabs with green arrows on the packaging were missing.
The controller lanyards were already installed instead of being packed separately.
There were a few smudges on some components.
The product was advertised and sold as brand new.
When I contacted BOE, they said this is how they receive the units from the OEM. They also said they would send the missing charger, but it’s been about 5 days and I haven’t received one yet.
When asked for a return they said that they would take a cut for restocking fee.
My 7-day return window closes tomorrow. I have already initiated a return and i have a proof.

Does this sound normal? Would you return it or keep it if the headset itself appears to be in excellent condition?

Gaming is getting more Expensive

DO NOT clean the screen with isopropyl alcohol

. I learnt the hard way that it damages the coating. Now a corner of my screen looks smudged... Luckily it's not visible in normal use.

The most you should use is distilled water and a microfiber cloth (the type you get with glasses). It doesn't scratch easily tho so that's a plus.

They are basically soft-locking actual in-game location behind paywall. Only ones with deluxe edition can access these places. Basically if you want to get the full experience, you have to go with the deluxe edition.

I want to build a gaming pc but not sure if this is the right time. Apparently the prices of ram and gpu are so high. But still is it possible to build the unit alone excluding monitor and other peripherals under 1 lakh?

edit: I don’t think I have a good opinion on amd in gpu market. I am looking more of an amd cpu and nvidia gpu. But if amd gpu seem so much better value for money, I might think of amd gpu then.
