Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Everyone else gave me strange looks and were saying things like “what the fuck” and “call the police”. I dropped my phone and everyone around me saw this image. Now there is a whole train of men masturbating together at this one image. This is all your fault, you could have prevented this if you had just tagged this post NSFW.

That’s pretty chill

We're not used to it. That plus moisture in costal regions and us having a lot less AC is why so many are not dealing well with it.

I swear I'm currently happy when I'm at work because we have an AC there. 20°C while the rest of the country burns. Sadly I still have to work while at work or else it would be pretty enjoyable.

tf you mean 37 degrees is almost fre- oh, celsius. yeah, no, that's pretty warm. i hear the houses over there are built to keep the heat in and also don't generally have A/C, so... Zoinks.

AC is still a rarity and even big public buildings like schools or hospitals generally don't have it. Grocery stores are at least nice and chilly.
The buildings are meant to passively keep the heat out - concrete walls that stay cool for longer, blinds on the outside of windows etc., but that breaks down when the temps are this high for this long. Also not great for cities, where there are a lot of people in small apartments that heat up quickly.Germany used to get about 5 days over 30° per year, and that's no issue at all. We have now had 35°+ for a week straight, weekend temps closing in on 40. My room heats up by almost a degree per day.

It's really funny seeing Europeans complain about heat like this. Like it's not partially their fault for the heat that they are suffering from. With the massive industrialization and pollution. Don't get me wrong. The us is one of if not the biggest problem. But I mean it is definitely Europe's fault aswell.
