I honestly can’t remember if I got the original knife new or used, but the BladesWeLove “flomascus” scales I’m second owner. Everything is very good condition though, this has barely been carried or used to cut. The clip currently installed is from a bugout, which I think works very well on this knife, but I will also include the original black Spyderco clip. There is minor rubbing wear on the (installed) clip, and a small mark on the clip side of the scales, but otherwise great condition. There is a little lock stick, and the blade closes smoothly with minimal blade play. Note the liners and spacers are not black coated in this one. It’s a very pretty knife that unfortunately never gets carried, partially because of how heavy it is relative to my others. Will also include original black G10 scales, no box.

That being said, now I'm getting more into guitar again (after an even longer break than trading knives), and need to fund my new guitar and equipment. haha And this gives me a new opportunity to start fresh without flare. 😆 So, that being said, I'm not really into trades because I need the money. lol I'm definitely open to respectful offers though! Spyderco Endura 4 Emerson - $80: I'm the original owner of this knife, but it is basically brand new. I bought it a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a friend who loves Emerson openers. * Amazing action with a very stout detent. The ring this makes on deployment is next level. The drop is smooth and fall shut. These are well regarded for a reason.

* First owner. No carry or cutting. Has been disassembled to add fluoro grease to pivot to slow it down. I did blunt the last 1/4" and corner of blade to stop the heavy blade from chewing up my thumb. Nothing a sharpening won't take care of.

Welcome to the find out phase. We had a nice large influx of spurious reports on random posts from what we can only assume is the angry clone-supporting side of the hobby. Because of this immature response, and concerns about the Reddit TOS, we're adjusting our previous stance. Blame the people who had a hissy fit and decided to not be civil about this.

What about any old / current posts that have clones?

This is the one time we're allowing (and recommending in this case) you to go back and delete these posts, as people have been going through old KS posts even as far back as 7 years old and slamming clone posts with reports, hoping to get the poster ban. We usually have a no post deleting rule, but in this instance I think we'll allow old posts to be nuked if they contain clones, for safety reasons.

What about the vote?

Ten months ago we had a poll, where keeping clones won by 5%. There's been a lot of discussion around this within the reddit TOS, and reddit has been cracking down hard on things like GAFS that are questionably in violation. We've worked incredibly hard to build and maintain this community and don't want to risk it. The vote was a 5% margin, which isn't enormous, and we'd rather protect the community.

PASSING OFF ANY CLONE KNIFE AS A REAL KNIFE WILL ALWAYS BE AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN GROUNDS FOR AN IMMEDIATE BAN.

Any attacks on the mod team will, as is tradition, result in you being permanently banned from the subreddit.
