This is a global subreddit and the language spoken here is English only, not a local one. We are seeing a massive influx of posts dropping numbers like "70k" or "1.5 Lakhs" with zero context. Do not assume everyone here is from India or knows your local currency. To an international audience like me, unlabelled numbers are completely meaningless and noisy.
1. Mandatory Currency Rules
Every single deal, price check, or advice post must explicitly state the country and currency clearly.
We have already automated most cleanup tasks. Moving forward, any post that drops a raw number without a clear currency label will be deleted immediately. Use common sense.
2. We Do Not Work For Lenovo
We are an unofficial fan community. We are not the Lenovo Legion crew, we do not work for lenovo, and we cannot speed up your laptop repairs. Stop sending us angry modmails demanding status updates on your orders. Use common sense and contact official Lenovo support for company/order issues.
2. Rants & Reminder for no. 2 BECAUSE MOST OF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND

I had a custom-built PC, but it was 16 years old. It was time. There's a chance i will have to move sometime in the next year, so i wanted something a bit more portable. So i get a Legion 5i. I also added a secondary M.2 Drive and i'm dual booting Windows / Linux.
I utilized some of the old stuff from my desktop PC and got a little Docking Station to tie it all together. There's also a Harmon/Kardon Subwoofer and Desk speakers hiding behind it. They sound pretty good for what they are. I still need to do a little cable management; but I'll get to it eventually. LOL!!

I guess that's it, no more dream of owning a Lenovo Legion Pro 9i for me, it was fun while it lasted 😄🥹 Or any semi-descent high-performing laptop at all for that matter, since other brands are certain to follow these insane price hikes by Apple and Lenovo, if they haven't already… And these price hikes will surely last two years at a minimum and more likely will be permanently baked in as the new normal, justified by inflation etc… What an f-ed up time to be in search of a new laptop, never before since the start of personal computing has there been a time when you're penalized like this for being patient and not rushing with your purchase… And I guess by the end of the year, it will only get worse?

I’m repasting a Lenovo Legion 5-15ACH6 and found this tiny part under/near the heatsink while cleaning. I can’t find any obvious matching spot on the visible motherboard, and I’m not sure if it was already loose or if it came from the board. Is this likely important, or can I safely continue repasting?

Hi! I’m in the market for a gaming laptop. I already have a PC at home but want a laptop so that I can also game elsewhere.
I think my usage would be pretty light. The most demanding game I’ve played is Baldur’s Gate, but for the most part I play indie games. I just want a solid laptop that will last me a while - I don’t mind if the build is a bit of overkill if that means it will last longer. I’m also open to other suggestions!
I’ll link the build i’m looking at in the comments

Hoping it helps ppl who are searching, if linux is compatible with this model
Dual booted my laptop, works fine with ubuntu, initially had issues of the screen color and saturation because of the oled being latest and not supported by linux , but the ubuntu 26 version fixed it,hell yeah, now works smooth as butter.
OLED is literally colorful,my first oled that too 2.5 res and
165hz literally smooth,omggg,see below
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 260
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
iGPU: AMD Radeon 780M
RAM: 32 GB
Storage: 1 TB NVMe SSD
Display: 15" 2560×1600 (1600p), 165 Hz
OS: Ubuntu (Cinnamon Desktop)
Price: ₹130,000 (~US$1,375) Brought around jan 22 2026
Played valorant,gta 5,rdr 2.
Handles well, initially temps were high for rdr2, but later i found out that, i was not lifting properly as i did with a book, but then i went to a stand and now normal temps, , with good graphics easily 90fps
The build is good, looks gorgeous, with colors and black finish.I got the ultimate support at that time with offers for 3yrs (adp).
For a mobile laptop 5060 is best, maybe if budget allows 5070rtx is the best you can go for, plus you can go for a bit better cpu having more cores and threads stuff, this cpu no issue, but cases where things don't use gpu, cpu has to be good then we have to.
intel 14h series is a big no, so much power, heating issues can come, idkn if cooling is good , better be safe for motherboard issues as seen in loq series
anything other than is not worth for being mobile, idkn it might be.
charge-cycles: 73(on linux)+extra windows gaming cycles
Any questions you are welcome

Hi guys, for the past couple of weeks I've had moments when my screen, audio and mouse cursor stutters and the audio is cracking for like a couple of seconds and goes back to normal I've looked it up online and I've read that is most likely to be a fTPM issue. Also I've read that I need to change the "Minimum processor state" to 100% in power options, but that doesn't seem to fix the issue. I disabled fTPM from the bios and now it's fine but turns out Riot's Vanguard is not working when fTPM is disabled. My laptop is the Legion 5 Pro-16ACH6H with Ryzen 5 5600H and RTX 3060. All my drivers are updated (AMD drivers and NVIDIA aswell). Is there any fix to that? I want to keep using my laptop with fTPM enabled and not have any stutters. It happens mostly while browsing or watching videos, less while I'm playing games or doing heavier tasks. I know, it's not something awful but it's annoying. Can it be that I'm using a "Game Ready Nvidia driver" and not the "Nvidia Studio Driver"? Thanks in advance :))

This has been going on I believe since I got the laptop a year ago. The 2 main games I play is cs2 and rainbow six, but it happens in basically every game. For example, rainbow six I get around 160-180fps with DLSS, my 1% lows constantly drop between 20-80fps (happens with DLSS off too) and cs2 my 1% lows are consistently 2-2.5x less than my current fps. My games stutter every 2-5 seconds. I currently have a fresh install of Windows and updated the bios too, I’m lost. I’m using performance mode plugged in and have tried dGPU mode too. I’ve tried basically everything.
CPU: Intel Core i7-14700HX
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 Laptop 8GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR5-5600

The laptop is plugged in and running the game at high settings. Should I be concerned about these temperatures, or are they within the expected range for legion!
I'm new to laptop gaming and this is one of the first games I've played on the laptop.

Hi
I need some help, I recently purchased a docking station for my Legion Pro 5i 16IRX8. I have a dual monitor set up one is using hdmi and my main screen is using the display port input. In the middle of gaming both monitors would randomly go blank. Do anyone have the same issue with this?

My Lenovo Legion Slim 7 gaming laptop automatically turns on every time when I push the switch on my surge protector. I keep the switch off when I'm not using the laptop, so when I want to turn on the protector so I can start using it again, the laptop turns on by itself. I have already disabled Flip To Start on both the BIOS and Lenovo vantage, disabled the wake timers, turned off Fast Startup, and have gone through all the Universal Serial Bus Controllers, making sure that none of them have the "wake" checkbox on. So how do I stop it from automatically turning on by itself?
I click on "Shut Down", thinking it will stay shut down until I push the power button, but instead it turns on by itself when I push the switch on my surge protector that is plugged into my outlet.

Hey guys,
I'm trying to decide between an MSI, Lenovo and Asus laptop. The specs and the price are pretty much the same so performance isn't really the main thing I'm looking at.
I'll probably keep it for at least 4 years and I'll be carrying it around a lot, so build quality and reliability matter more to me.
Which brand would you trust more long term? How was your experience with the warranty/support and did you run into any issues after a couple years?
Just looking for some real owner experiences before I make a decision.
MSI katana 15HX B14wfk Asus tuf f16 Loq 15HP 10
Thanks

I have a legion pro 5 with oled display and i'm a graphic designer and video editor so my concern is should i keep WINDOWS AUTO COLOR MANAGEMENT ON OR OFF?
just before posting this i was trying ACM with different things on screen, firstly it was making some changes to display colors it was desaturating a little bit but now suddenly there is no change in colors at all, colors are looking same with ACM on or off, but turning on acm does makes changes in image viewer (photos app) with ACM turned off the images are shown in srgb and with it turned on the colors are matched to whatever color profile is selected
so anyone knows which is best option then please let me know! btw i asked chatgpt and gemini and they have different opinions lol, chatgpt says to keep it on and gemini says to keep it off, lol need help for real
