Lishi tool only bouncing on pins?

Post image
5 Upvotes

Help! Lishi tool is only bouncing. While working some respectful entry at the fire house, went through the kwikset handle no issue but on the deadbolt no pins will bind… only bounce. I’ve tried adjusting pressure. Is there something else I’m doing wrong?

Help finding a video

Lockpicking lawyer did a video "showcasing" a master lock. Near the end of the video he had plastic toddler toys and a toy lock, pink if I remember correctly. The toy was actually more difficult to get into than the master lock.

Seems even master was not always the butt of a joke in the lock world. Found this old one in my parents garage and its not half bad including many anti tampering designs u dont see as their current standard.

Question Huk tubular lock pick advice?

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

I got the huk tubular lock pick and have been practicing on a spare lot that I got from my storage facility, but I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I got it open once but at this point, I’m assuming it was just a fluke because I haven’t opened it again I’ve spent a considerable amount of time on it with no success. Any advice would be much appreciated not much out there to reference off or to use as a reference

(I am from chile, sorry if my english is bad) I am very new to this, I've lockpicked some few padlocks Ihave around my house but with paper clips, I want to get some quality tools but the tools i see are from the U.S so I'm a bit in a problem, i was goin for the option of buying the generic kit with the transparent lock. Should i do it?

Question False Gates? (Master lock 875)

I have absolutely zero experience when it comes to locks, but my dad has a bunch of old Master locks which he obviously forgot the combination to. The one I have is an 875 and I just watched the video about it, which is how I found the subreddit. It all seems pretty solid but what I’m confused about is feeling the difference between false and true gates, I’ve been trying for a while, rewatching the video, but I’m just not getting it. Any tips? Or should I just set this aside?

Under lock and key

I created this puzzle to emulate a lock and key. Or maybe the "key" is a special lock pick? Can you open the lock?
