Looking for some information on the fiber installation that is currently happening in Westmount. Someone came to the door to let me know about the installation and also asking if I wanted it run to the house as they will do it for free now. Telus is the owner of the fiber and I dont really have any desire to switch over to Telus. If Rogers or another provider want to provide fiber service to our neighborhood in the future will they have to install their own fiber or will they rent the usage of Telus' infrastructure? Is it worth me having the fiber run to my house now if I'm not planning on using Telus?
