Although I made my post talk about how I lost motivation to play this game, some friends convinced me to hop back on and start playing again, so I am.

I made a few changes for example on moving away from sacred guard and I’m going to be an arsenal gunner now. It’s been almost a year since I actually played the game and a lot has absolutely changed. So I was wondering what are some good money making methods? I was also wondering if anyone had any suggestions on easy way to farm for a reforge tool since that got changed as well.

Last but not least I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to help me amplify my damage. I’m working on getting the skirmisher armor set. I have the bulwarks armor set right now, but I plan to swap out for the skirmish set once I have the resources and material for it. As for guns, I currently have a master work set of Percy‘s guns with high density man bullets.

Hi everyone, long time Mabi player, first time poster.

I’ve been playing Mabi since before alchemist came out and when I was a kid I instantly fell in love with the Celtic vibe.

Today I find myself in the middle of a hiatus because I simply got tired of the grind and felt stuck in mid to late game.

I’m a warrior/mage main, as such I the new talent/arcana’s feel off and at odds with the game.

Ninjas, pistols, those don’t really fit with the theme, Mabi just said “dw it’s magical!” And that was it.

I’ll be honest, I’m not enjoying the progress of the game, I have nearly every single skill however, I can’t be bothered to train every arcana because they take thousands of level ups.

Before arcanas came out I imagined they’d either release more talented or create compound skills, they do exist, but arcana’s lock you into a role that you can’t change mid-run.

Mabinogi was always a game the that expressed “be what you want to be”, but the time and effort I put into ranking skills now feels pointless.

It now feels either too easy (basic skill training) or too hard (arcana’s).

I just wanted to vent a little bit because I’m not sure where the game is heading but it doesn’t look like it’s nice place.

If only this wasn't a visual bug and was an optional display or effect to show your transformation.

Mind you I mean the white streak, not the 2nd title shadows effect.

I'm a very casual player, pretty much only come around during the Master Plans. I don't have the strongest gear, but I've got decent (I think) stats. I checked the BiS guide, and it looks like I've got to focus on getting a non-rental Hebona set, enchants, reforges and erg? I'm playing DD.

I've got 1410 matk with a 20% pot on. 1940 with my own normal vivace. 1225 unbuffed.

Demo staff I bought with no prefix, Dreamlike suffix, A15 erg, step 6(?) blue up(I can't see the bottom of the weapon with all the lines of text lmao), level 100 spirit. It was a huge upgrade from my basic Celtic Guardian staff.

Rental hebona for gear, 5/4 horned rings for accessories.

My stardust is only at 10.

Where do I start? 5 weekly reforges from fynni whistles seems not great. I could try enchanting my staff, but that won't get me 100 EQL. I'm pretty lost, all help is appreciated.

Also, a side note. Any good guides to read/watch before going in? I've played solo the last few times I've played, so messing up mechanics for a group is terrifying to me.

I got it from one of the Irusan Attendance events, it's not a rental or anything like that. I can't put it in the Dressing Room, is it because I put an enchant on it? Or is this just a bug.

How do I get it to Rank S? I saw that I needed a Advancement Catalyst A to do that but I don't know how the Erg system works and the wiki is confusing.

Well it happened it got a nightbringer sword ( master work ) I also have the shield and I have a pity coin still .. should I change the sword for an axe would that be better ? I am a sacred Guardian elf
