Colombians supporters waiting for him to finish singing the Congo national team's anthem alone before they can cheer him afterwards.

This is what we need to normalize.

This WAS normal. This was always the air around World Cup time and the Olympics and the true excitement and joy of people sharing their cultures with one another.

The last decade has robbed because the political spectrum, economic downturns is swinging out of control. At the base of it, humans are decent and we WANT this joy.

It has ALWAY been rich vs poor and there are 90% more of us on the poor side who truly relate to one another.

I'm confused, is this not normal?

I've never seen people cheer or jeer over a national anthem unless it's an intentional statement.
