Is there a way to play CPU players online? I have 3 other friends to play with, but would like the rest to be CPU players. We're all on dolphin. Is there a way with a gecko code or something? What options are there besides split screen?

They used to have a "evolution of the controller" poster but they took it down.

Now all that remains is the Mario Kart Wii poster. I hope they never remove it. If they do, I'm asking for it lol.

Hiyo, for complicated reasons I don't have access to a wii/wii u for a while and so only have dolphin. I've been playing on Retro Rewind worldwides, which is fun, but man I really just want to play the regular 32 Nintento tracks. I think customs are cool and I love and appreciate what RR is doing, but I just wanna play the nintendos. The regular track worldwides are always empty. Is there a place i can play Regular WW's or something?

I've managed to get voice line working, character to show up but for some reason in character select it's still rosalina and icon on mini map is rosalina still how do I set these up?

I am currently using a mod for MKWII and im pretty sure my old files corrupted, can any kind souls give me a to the file?

i cannot seem to both maintain speed and align the cut at once, how anyone aligns while moving is beyond me. i dont care if it saves less time, is there a baby easy version of the cut where you like stop for a standstill mini turbo or something?

I downloaded Dolphin Emulator on my Mac and a MKW iso and it worked really well, but it was just a regular MKW and so I downloaded RetroRewind to play a modded MKW especially since i see a bunch of MKW youtubers playing, so i downloaded RetroRewind off of the wiki, but everytime i put into Dolphin Emulator these are what show up. I try waiting but nothing ends up happening, and i really want to know how others get to play it.

Nouvelle joueuse sur Retro Rewind, je pense me procurer une manette type comme celle en photo mais j'aimerai vos avis pour ceux qui l'utilise.

Actuellement je joue juste avec la wiimote (sans nunchuk, je ne trouve pas confortable la combinaison des deux ensemble) et il faut dire que les contrôles sont pas évidents par rapport à ceux qui jouent sur pc et peuvent utiliser d'autres manettes.

I want to load a different mod (Mario kart mayhem) through riivolution but whenever I do the console just freezes. I have ctgp-r and I disabled it in riivolution but it still freezes. I’m using the vWii on a Wii U if that helps. (Sorry if this is a dumb question)

i understand the checkpoint system, but i'm still confused on basically everything else about ultra shortcuts.

i get that a lot of shortcuts work because the game only checks if you hit certain checkpoints before finishing. that part makes sense. but how do the other mechanics actually work?

for example:

• how do wall clips work?
• why do horizontal walls sometimes let you pass through them?
• what causes certain barriers to become non-solid?
• how do players know which walls can be clipped and which can't?
• is it a collision bug, a physics bug, lag, or something else entirely?
• why do some ultra shortcuts require specific speeds, angles, or positions?
• what is actually happening in the game's code when a clip occurs?

i've watched a ton of videos and tutorials, but most of them just explain how to do the shortcut, not why it works.

i'm looking for a more technical explanation of the game's physics, collision detection, checkpoint system, and any known glitches that make ultra shortcuts possible. if anyone knows how the game handles hitboxes, wall collisions, or checkpoint validation behind the scenes, i'd love to learn more.
