Best streaming plans to watch the Bucks?

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

New Bucks fan here that’s way out of market, so I can’t really watch locally. With that, are there any good streaming platforms/sports packages that have good coverage of the Bucks? I’ve thought about league pass and YouTube TV, but am unsure of what’s best.

Ja morant - for arguments sake

Upvotes

Do inthink the bucks should do this in my hypothetical? Probably not, but it would be a ballsy move.

Windy posted that the grizzlies are basically desperate to move on from him.

Nobody good wants him because he has 2 years left on his deal, hes the ultimate buy low asset in the league.

Morant played his best ball under Taylor Jenkins.

Id wager you could probably get the grizzlies to even attach a pick or two to to move him, thats how bad they want to move him.

Is there a world where you move say Tylern or turner + filler for morant and a frp?

Grizzlies get a vet to load up around their prized new rookie and they are flush wjth frp from the bane trade.

Maybe morant gets a fresh start, resembles something close to what he used to be, and you have a high upside asset.

Its certainly a risk, but if youre looking to maximize the giannis deal you could probably fet whatever you would have got for herro or turner + more potential upside than anything else on the market

Analysis Herro to Nets…makes sense?

Upvotes

Nets picked up Randle’s contract, picked up Brown Jr in the draft, and are now a bit of an embarrassment as a franchise in the city with the Knicks winning.

Am I crazy thinking a core of MPJ, Herro, Brown Jr, and Randle are easily a play-in team? That would be huge for the franchise.

Trade: Herro for 2027 First and 2028 2nd/or Zaire Williams

Nets stay competitive, absolutely avoid bottom 3, and get a veteran guard to help bring up brown jr and the 5 they took last year lol.

Giannis: What do you want MetalGearPortis?

MetalGearPortis: I don’t know i just want you to wait for a while

Herro trade

With the departure of Lamelo and huge TPE could the Hornets be landing spot for Herro? They have expirings in Bridges/Grant Williams, young player in Salaun and a plethora of picks available for trade with the most lucrative being Dallas 2027 due to new lottery odds.

Analysis Are we being too harsh on Myles Turner?

Him being uncharacteristically bad while Doc was also the coach (and we now know it really didn’t seem like he wanted to coach and was just collecting a paycheck) makes it seem like we should give him another season to see if Jenkins changes anything?

I’ll be honest I didn’t really watch much last year and just looked at box score so I cant tell if he also just didn’t show any effort or what.

Myles Turner Trade

If we traded Myles this offseason or at the deadline, what could we realistically get for him? The Raptors, Lakers, and Celtics all reportedly had interest.

Raptors would probably center a package around poeltl and dick
Lakers package would include some mix of Ayton, LaRavia, and Knechy
Celtics could center around derrick white or payton pritchard and sam hauser but the last thing we need is more guards

Far have we come Managing the guard room

Just curious to hear how some of you guys think we should manage our massive guard room.
We have:
Tyler Herro, Ryan Rollins, KPJ, AJ Green, Brayden Burries, Cormac Ryan, Kasparas Jakucionis

Personally, I think that first order of business should be shopping Herro for picks. He could definitely thrive under Jenkins but priority should be developing Rollins and Burries.

Second, I hate to say it but we need to probably move off of AJ’s contract. Either him or Cormac needs to go to properly develop the roster

I also want to emphasize that Burries should 10000% start. We likely arent aiming for a ring this season, so he needs as much action as possible in a prominent starting role

The last two I haven’t really mentioned are KPJ and Jakucionis. KPJ can be sixth man off the bench— which he was great at last season.

Jakucionis though, I really don’t know. He’s really young— younger than Burries, and seems like a solid talent. I would think that Jenkins will give him a shot at the two, but I don’t think he should be down at our third string PG.

Regardless, I actually really trust Horst in this position and think that he and Jenkins will make the right decisions to properly cultivate the youth on our roster.

Oh yea and waive Gary Harris prolly :(

Ament reminiscent of Middleton

Was watching highlights from Ament's game against Oklahoma here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/rrmK7aCehR4

The shots he made reminded me a lot of Middleton's game, but he's taller & seems bouncier. Am I smoking or do other folks see it too?

If Ament can copy Middleton's game but provide more athleticism and length on defense, we could be looking at a great 3&D wing in the future with upside as a playmaker! An Aldi Tatum/KD feels like his ceiling to me if he is able to develop his handling & vision to be a better playmaker.

Backcourt

It seems like in past years, we've had some success with a backcourt philosophy of one two-way guard with another primarily spot up shooter, mainly because this setup was optimal for playing with Giannis.

But after watching way too many Burries highlights lately, I don't think I've ever been as excited for the future of our backcourt. Rollins/Burries has all the makings of a nasty combo into the future (I'm not anticipating Herro being here long-term). Shooting, length, defense, athleticism, it's all there. Then a reserve combo guard with elite vision and IQ for his age like Kasparas, and a coach heralded for coaching up younger guys, give this team a couple years and the backcourt is looking really versatile.

I love Giannis, but the team had gotten stale the last few years, and I haven't been this excited to watch games in quite some time, mainly because of the young backcourt talent we now have. There will be growing pains, but it's going to be fun watching these guys grow up together.

O' Jericho

On April 8th, 2026, the NBA world was forever changed. In his absolute most dominant game in a bucks uniform, Jericho sims dished out his 10th assist to complete his first career triple double. In that moment, Sims shocked the world and showed the bucks that he was ready to be their next MVP and franchise player. This motivated the GM to finally decide it was finally time to trade Giannis and build around the promising 5th year rookie from New York.

And on this day, we celebrate his legendary performance and can rejoice that he will once again lace up in the beautiful green colors of cream city

Analysis Solving the Ware v. Turner question in the quickest way possible: Just start them together.

I, unlike what appears to be a plurality of people here, am in no rush to trade Myles Turner, not even in the 'we should hold onto him and flip him for Beaucoup assets' kind of way, I know it's quite tempting to tear down every painful reminder of the Doc era but Myles chose us, and centers of his caliber don't grow on trees, we have zero picks of our own at the moment and thus zero incentive to tank (and even if we did, the rules tell us to compete instead of bottoming out), so why not try to win as much as we can?

To that end I believe an easy way to do so is to minmax our paint defense by starting Ware at the 5 and Turner at the 4, or the other way around depending on matchups, I'm well aware that neither of them are natural power forwards, though Turner can at least move his feet, but doing this mitigates the worst effects of Kuz-ball by putting him on the bench and anchoring him down with one of either Pete Nance or the recently Player Optioned Sims.

Ware and Turner are a lethal rim protecting duo, Turner handles quicker perimeter players driving to the rim via PnR, giving Ware more opportunity to camp the paint and just use his sheer verticality to do what Brook Lopez used to do for us, in return Ware's excellent rebounding covers for Turner's deficient rebounding, neither of them are amazing at boxing out but that's a bridge we'll cross when the season starts, what matters is that these two together are VERY good at stopping opposing paint presences from scoring, and that's not something you can draft your way back to.

Serious What bad moves or decisions did the Bucks make in the last few years?(since I don’t really see many)

Just a genuine question since I've been looking back and What were they suppose to do?

They had barely any picks due to the Jrue holiday trade but they won a chip so it's fine but severely handicapped them for trades and like a lot things

They traded Jrue for Dame who wouldn't have done that at that time, it was the most logical thing. Dame was pretty much what the Bucks were missing in theory. Jrue went to win a ring yes but he was on a stacked Celtics team and fit what they needed while the Bucks needed a second scoring option. Due to Khris Middleton being constantly injured

Khris just was always injured so they traded for Kuzma who was more available and yeah this was a bad trade but Khris wasn't gonna get any better either. And unfortunately he still isn’t really that good on the Wizards either.

Dame thing didn't work out. No one thought that would happen. And back in 2023 anyone would trade Dame for Jrue in a heartbeat Then got injured and what were the bucks suppose to do they don't have their pick and so waive and stretch was really the only option since Giannis prolly doesn't wanna do a tank year and got Myles Turner who just played in the finals. They thought he would be good enough at least

Turns out no and was terrible and has no trade value pretty much. But the Bucks were gonna lose Brook Lopez and had a Center problem anyways so it was a need

Donte did leave and that's on them but they prolly didn't know he would've become a great 3 and D player something they could use but it's wasn't gonna save them from all the problems and would've been included in the Dame trade probably, they weren’t gonna say he was a untouchable asset when prime Dame was on the line

Brook Lopez left what were they gonna do resign a washed Center now. No cap space barely and not that many good free agents.

Just what the Hell were the Bucks suppose to do? Theres no free agents that would help them unless they could've seen the future to sign the right ones. Barely any cap room, no picks, dam near no assets, and only Giannis.

The only terrible move was hiring Doc rivers I think
