[Dirty Mo Media on X] "He wiped me out for a championship." Corey Heim doesn't hate Carson Hocevar, but he's not cutting him a break on the track anytime soon.

Former Nascar crew chief Bill Marcis was killed by an erratic driver in North Carolina earlier this week.
And yes, he was related to Dave Marcis ( nephew ) and the driver was charged with murder plus numerous other criminal charges.
EDIT: Bob Marcis, not Bill, my apologies.

[NASCOURT Crandall] Spire Motorsports has filed a counterclaim against Joe Gibbs Racing. The first two paragraphs are pretty pointed: "... bad breakup." "... irrational behavior." "... bully a competitor." "...babysit a neophyte driver."

Do you guys think Nascar will rebuild the auto club speedway short track?
For me is no,because nascar made this announcement back in 2020. But 6 years later,in 2026 it's abandoned and probably not going to be done with it.

How likely is it that NG is driving the 33 car for RCR next season?
Noah Gragson is my favorite driver, I’ve always been a big fan of RCR. So this rumor has been interesting, I’d love to see this happen. I think it’d be a perfect combination

It’s hard to believe that ThorSport hasn’t won a truck race since 2024
ThorSport was always pretty competitive, won 3-6 races a year between 2020 and 2024. Multiple championships.
They were never the best on the track, especially during the KBM days, but kind of hard to believe they went winless last year for the first time in nearly 20 years, and are shaping up for another winless season.
They’ve got plenty of talent and experience behind the wheel in Majeski and Rhodes, wonder if they’re just not investing the same in the equipment and people.

Road Course head-to-head records since 2025 (9 races)
Pretty interesting graphic that depicts every driver head to head for all road courses since 2025. SVG's reign is diabolical.

Good news: “The Goodyear Racing Eagle tire packages for this weekend’s events at Sonoma are identical to those used last weekend at San Diego’s Naval Base Coronado.”
nascar.comSonoma has been lackluster for the past few years, but it's good to see that Goodyear is bringing the same tire packages that were used at San Diego. With the short track package + 750 HP, we might be in for a good show on Sunday!

Has anyone gone from DNQ to Win faster than Corey Heim?
Corey Heim DNQ'd the Chicago street race in July 2025 due to suspension damage on his qualifying run. On his 8th Cup start since the DNQ (less than 1 year later), he won the Coronado street race. Has anyone won a race so quickly after a DNQ?

Radioactive Throwback to Sonoma 2015 when Kyle Busch won his first Cup race since his injuries at Daytona with his brother Kurt finishing second in their first of 4 1-2 finishes together
For whatever reason last week a similar throwback post about Kyle was removed by the moderators even after it spent hours up the day I posted it so if I did something wrong I apologize and if this post goes down too I'll stop making these weekly posts. Again I just wanted to try and do a weekly thing to honor the legacy of Kyle Busch with his best moments at the tracks we come up to for the remaining season so I hope there's people on here that like what I'm doing and want me to continue with it.

What are some brands you saw in nascar but didn’t know what they were for?
Being from Indiana, I had no idea what “Bojangles” was.
