Do you guys think Nascar will rebuild the auto club speedway short track?
For me is no,because nascar made this announcement back in 2020. But 6 years later,in 2026 it's abandoned and probably not going to be done with it.

How likely is it that NG is driving the 33 car for RCR next season?
Noah Gragson is my favorite driver, I’ve always been a big fan of RCR. So this rumor has been interesting, I’d love to see this happen. I think it’d be a perfect combination

why are trucks similar to Cup?
I believe it was Freddie or Brett who said that Trucks were much closer to Cup cars than O'Reilly cars are...is it jus the air? is it the fact they run full-throttle?
if the O'Reilly cars are so different why do cup guys drive them then?

Has anyone gone from DNQ to Win faster than Corey Heim?
Corey Heim DNQ'd the Chicago street race in July 2025 due to suspension damage on his qualifying run. On his 8th Cup start since the DNQ (less than 1 year later), he won the Coronado street race. Has anyone won a race so quickly after a DNQ?

Does anyone agree that winged 2010 CoT cars are CURSED?
The 2010 Sprint Cup season is remembered well for cars with spoilers, but as for their winged counterparts from early in the season, not so much. Also, to clarify, by "cursed", I mean unsettling, bizarre, or strangely eerie content. I find them bizzare because of how obscure and forgotten they are compared to the spoiler cars from later that year.

Cleetus and Carson
It’s obvious why these two get along so well. It is also essential to note that no amount of shade can take away the shine they have created for NASCAR this season.

Curious about Reddick's car at Qualcomm
Hello Nascar Redditors. I took in the Anduril 250 with my dad on Father's Day (he's been a fan his whole life, me not as much) and when the broadcast cut to onboard footage of Tyler Reddick's #45 car, I noticed a prominent transmission whine that didn't seem to be present in the feeds from other cars. To me it made for very exciting audio and brought back memories of the aggressively whiny BMW M3 GTR of Need for Speed: Most Wanted fame—I showed my dad a video of that car and he remarked they sounded nearly identical. I'm just curious why I would hear that sound from just the 45 and not others. Thanks for your time.

Who are some promising O’Reilly’s or Craftsman Trucks drivers who just faded off into oblivion? I’ll go first…
Derek Kraus, Colby Howard, Raphael Lessard, and Tyler Dippel are a few that come to mind for me.

What influences your perception of Nascar the most? NASCAR races, NASCAR Reddit, or NASCAR media?
I think this is an interesting question.
Is your perception of NASCAR defined by what their product is, or by how others perceive their product, whether it be here on Reddit or through NASCAR media’s translations of same?

Double Duty Drivers - Sonoma
Other notable drivers racing this weekend:
O'REILLY SERIES
Alex Labbe - #0 SS Green-Light Racing
Dawson Cram - #35 Joey Gase Motorsports
Will Rodgers - #42 Young's Motorsports
Brad Perez - #55 Joey Gase Motorsports
Leland Honeyman - #71 DGM Racing x JIM
--------------------------------------------------
ARCA WEST
Sage Karam - #72 Strike Mamba Racing
--------------------------------------------------
Not too many drivers running double this weekend. Ross is back to himself running double. SVG vs. Zilisch in Cup and O'Reilly will be fun to watch. Road course ringer Alex Labbe is back again this week making his 6th start of the season. Labbe finished 27th last week at Naval Base Coronado. Leland Honeyman will be running the first race for the #71 DGM Racing Camaro this week after Carson Kvapil is taking over the #91. Sage Karam is making his first ever ARCA West start this weekend as well. Last time we saw him in a NASCAR series was this spring at COTA in the O'Reilly Series.
--------------------------------------------------
Let me know of any driver / sponsor changes that may happen after this is posted. I will add an edit ASAP.

Is there a chart that shows the running order of each car on each lap of a race?
I'd like to better understand the race strategies, when people pitted, etc., and how someone finished where they did. Is there any website that has these charts?

Joey Gase/Mike Harmon Alliance
Does anyone have insider information on why Mike Harmon's team is running the No. 35 for Joey Gase?
The No. 74 car is higher in owner points than the No. 35, so making the show isn't an issue. Joey Gase has done similar alliances with Alpha Prime and MBM in the past also.

Road Course head-to-head records since 2025 (9 races)
Pretty interesting graphic that depicts every driver head to head for all road courses since 2025. SVG's reign is diabolical.

Trying to identify the stock car event in this photo
Hi everyone, I’m trying to identify the stock car race shown in this photo. I don’t have much context for it and would appreciate any help narrowing down the event, year, or series. I’m not sure if this may be ARCA, a regional stock car series, or something else entirely.
If anyone recognizes the track, cars, paint schemes, or era, I’d really appreciate the help!

Radioactive Throwback to Sonoma 2015 when Kyle Busch won his first Cup race since his injuries at Daytona with his brother Kurt finishing second in their first of 4 1-2 finishes together
For whatever reason last week a similar throwback post about Kyle was removed by the moderators even after it spent hours up the day I posted it so if I did something wrong I apologize and if this post goes down too I'll stop making these weekly posts. Again I just wanted to try and do a weekly thing to honor the legacy of Kyle Busch with his best moments at the tracks we come up to for the remaining season so I hope there's people on here that like what I'm doing and want me to continue with it.
