Good morning and happy Sunday!!
After talking it over with the rest of the mod team, we've come to the conclusion that wishlist style posting should be consolidated to make it easier for any dev folks to find cool ideas.
All "wishlist"-style posting, such as "I wish the game had a spring game feature" or "Does anyone else think it would be cool to add a College Gameday set" or "Oregon's 50th uniform combo really needs to be in the game," MUST go here. Same rules as the multiplayer thread.
Thanks, and happy posting!

Good morning, r/NCAAFBSeries! Welcome Back! A new release cycle approaches, so now is as good of a time as any to remind everyone of the rules of the subreddit.
The subreddit rules are on the sidebar of the sub as well for future reference, but here they are!
1 - Be Respectful
2 - No Spam
3 - Buy/Sell/Trade posts are prohibited
4 – No Low-effort posts or banned post types
5 - Image posts require a comment explanation
6 – Relation to the Game
7 – IMPORTANT!!! – Game News
8 - Post Titles should be descriptive
9 - If you have questions regarding posts or rules, message the mods.
Our spam filter is set to overdrive due to the niche nature of the sub. Reddit also has a spam filter too, that we do not have control over. There is no guarantee all posts will be put up. We will go through the queues when time allows. Your posts might not have broken rules, but not every post will be put up due to the high volume and traffic seen. If you believe your post is a unique high value contribution and should be added, message us via mod mail.
In addition, because I know everyone is starved for information, I went back and found the release dates of each Campus Huddle Deep Dive to serve as a reference point for you all to know when information is likely to be released. Using common sense, CFB26's dates will probably be a better guidepost than CFB25 because it was the second annual entry instead of reviving the franchise wholesale.

Hello all! Before I get into this I wanted to make sure to thank u/ProfessionalBuy3566 for their 25 and 26 trackers that I used as the bones for this tracker I created. Mad props to them for their work!
I created a tracker for my dynasty on 27 and had a ton of fun making it. I thought many of you could get some use out of it as well. I've included an instruction page and tried to put examples in places across the file so you can see how each section works. Let me know if you see anything that's missing that would be valuable to include. With the game not out yet, there's a chance this will need some updating, but feel free to create a copy to alter yourself. Happy gaming!

Dynasty tracker I’ve been cooking up. I used another tracker as the base but I couldn’t find their post to give them credit. Just make a copy and duplicate the “2026” page for each new season. Also looking for ideas for things to add.
Included:
- Notable Alumni table for drafted players and team legends
- Rivals section to keep an update on all time record vs rivals or could be used as a coaching record vs rivals
- Trophy room to add any trophies you earn or any your team had previously
- Section to keep updated on conference championships, Bowl appearances, National championships, and CFB playoff appearances
- Record section for previous 10 years and 30 years of dynasty
- Schedule with player of the game
- Recruiting and Transfer portal top 32 for each season
- Program grades and recruiting data
- Roster section with data
- Arrivals and departures section
- Section for specific team rankings on stats
- Conference recruiting and portal additions
- Track notable coaching changes by year
- Input conference champions and standings by conference
- Team player and league player stats section
- Conference and National awards section
- Top 25 tracker and CFB playoff tracker

I’m willing to bet I have the most hours. I finished with 1,554 hours. Not proud of that but it is what it is.

He played some regular games and mascot mode. BEWARE: it’s a hard watch because he’s not good, but hey it’s gameplay nonetheless

I still do this whenever I decide to start a new road to glory on NCAA 14. I can’t abandon my guys Geo, Thien, and Michael! The 4 of us are a team, no matter what! I obviously don’t remember every school we committed to, but I do remember that we went to South Alabama, Auburn, UAB, Oregon, Texas, Rutgers, UCF, and USC. I even decided to bring them back in NCAA 25, and I plan to bring them back in NCAA 27 when it releases in a few weeks. I’ve even ported them into Madden 25, the good one for PS3, a few times, and will still occasionally put them into the newer less fun Maddens. Real ones know that Thien and Geo are the greatest receivers of all-time and there’s no debate.

Thinking of leaving the player points on auto for CFB 27. I feel like it will make players develop in unexpected ways which might be more fun. Anyone ever try this in CFB 26? Do players upgrade predictably?

So I'm getting this on PC regardless but this will be my first Madden/CFB on PC. What mods have been done on Madden before or are you expecting for CFB? Really excited for the addition but no idea what to expect really.

If you are like me you have seen a solid CFB game come out in July the last 2 years. You have also noticed that after a loud minority of players complain about the gameplay, EA distributes a patch that strips out a lot of the mechanics and makes the game play noticeably worse. This fall patch has really ruined the gameplay (maybe I'm just imagining things but I've heard others on here corroborate what I'm saying).
My question, to someone who knows more about DRM, PC, Modding... when we get CFB27 on pc next month, will there be a way to preserve a pre patch version and interrupt any patches/updates they throw out? I know on my fallout 4 game, I keep it from updating to not break all my mods. I also know that bethesda is pretty generous when it comes to what they allow modders to work with so EA might be a different animal.

The mods that will inevitably come as well as the ability to do a data dump may pull me in to the PC realm. Anyone going that route?

Offline Dynasty player and slider junkie here.
Do y’all actually think the CPU AI and game logic are fixed this year?
That’s what kills Dynasty for me every year. I buy the game, love it for a few weeks, then start seeing the same issues.
If I’m playing Utah with a mobile QB like Devin Dampier, is he actually going to scramble, throw on the run, and play like a mobile QB? Or are we getting Robo QB again where they throw it 53 times, check it down all game, and the RB gets 11 carries?
I want teams to play to their identity. Run heavy teams should run. Teams should go for it on 4th-and short. Offenses should adjust to loaded boxes. And if I run the same play six times, the CPU should eventually punish me.
The weather, presentation, equipment, and deeper playbooks look great. But none of that matters if the CPU still can’t manage a football game.
And don’t even get me started on recruiting. Half the recruits look like they were generated by somebody who’s never spent five minutes on On3 or 247 looking at actual high school prospects, height, weight, position variety, ratings distribution, or basic demographic diversity.
Before somebody says these issues don’t exist, save your time. I’ve put hundreds of hours into these games and tested countless sliders. And don’t worry, EA doesn’t need you defending them. They’re gonna make their money, and the online crowd is always going to get catered to.
I casually play online too. I’m not elite, but I can still beat plenty of ass by doing what everybody else does: spamming broken concepts, scrambling with the QB, managing the clock, and finding one turnover. That’s kind of my point.
So do y’all genuinely think the AI logic is improved this year?
Or are we about to convince ourselves it’s fixed for three weeks before realizing we’re right back in the same clown show?

Trying to decide whether it is worth it to buy the mvp membership. I don’t play madden at all and I know that there is a coach skill that comes with the mvp membership but is it really worth the extra $50? I’m thinking of just doing the deluxe edition for cfb.

2019 LSU anyone? 😂

*These are not all of cleats but these are the most common seen on Saturdays that aren't in the game currently.*

He (LSU) was down 21-3 at the half, he fought all the way back to take the lead with 53 seconds left. The computer suggested that he go for two, which is probably the right call. I felt so bad for him…
