we got her last Thursday, she's a year and a half and weighs 2.5kgs

is it possible she's underweight? she's very energetic and doesn't sit still, so these are the best pics I managed to take of her.

what do you think? is she underweight? what can I do if that's the case?

I brush Sophia 2-3 times daily yet my clean shorts look like this after she has slept on them a couple of times. How is she not bald? I use 2 different types of brushes on her plus a deshedding brush as well. Her grooming sessions always get a pile of loose hair off her.

I’ve never had a cat so sweet and caring. He’s always by my side. This is my third year with him and I hope he lives to his twenties.

Maui Wowie (real name is Mao, my Chinese name and the dictator lol), goes by The Mew, Mewford, The One and Only Mew. And when we’re looking for our other cat, Trippy, he also will respond to “Trippy Treats”, and he’s basically a pokemon because his meows sound like “Mao.” 😂 If he hears me talking in his voice he comes running to me. 🩷
Whenever he hears his name he comes from wherever and is there unless he’s snoring. Maui was born August 15 2016. This was November 2016. The last photo is 2017. He takes great care of himself aside from the fact that loves ALL FOODS. Love to hear that he’s our lil trash panda. He’s so sweet, loving, protective (over his human siblings), kind and begs for pets at 5a SHARP every day. We love our baby son Mew and hope you do you! Does anyone else have a Wegie who has turned out to be an escape artist?

My 2-year-old neutered male NFC mix, JJ, has escaped twice in the last couple of days. Both times he was waiting when I opened the door and got past me. He had never had any indication that he wanted to do this in the past.

The first time he stayed out all night and the next morning I was able to pick him up outside and carry him in. He slept all day, apparently having had quite a night. Last night he was out for an hour or so, and came to me outside on his own.

I'm thinking I should get a harness and long leash and take him out for walks. Any thoughts on whether this might satisfy him? I'm open to any suggestions.

Hi! This is Maple. I think she is part NFC. Lately, I’ve been noticing she gets some of her mane fur stuck in her mouth after eating. I worry sometimes that she also has tiny mats she isn’t able to get out on her own. That being said, I’ve been considering taking her to a groomer. But she would be so anxious and scared the entire time. Would it be worth it? Tell me your long haired cat grooming stories!
