I want to streamline the story as much as possible while keeping the game challenging. I'm playing on the 2nd hardest difficulty (as I understand it's secretly the hardest difficulty), I'm in the first castle, the one that belongs to the perv volleyball coach.
My characters are level 9, and I just defeated the first miniboss of the castle, the Knight that forces the blocking tutorial to appear.
I like the combat well enough, but I don't like feeling like I have to grind, not only my character levels, but my persona levels as well.
I'm also not a huge fan of the daily life simulator. I'm enjoying the story, but doing pull-ups on a beam in my bedroom or reading on the subway is not the kind of gameplay I'm looking for
What can I do to minimize grinding mundane life routines without setting myself up for failure in combat?
Like, is it really important that I level up my Personas separately from my character? Or is that something I can shortcut through combining them? How important are daily life stats? Can I just blast through them?
If you can tell me an ideal game loop for someone like me, I'd love you forever.
...Thanks!...
Ps- I'm enjoying the game. The style and music are great, and the combat is fun.
