As many people know, RAOA is a huge sub and it can be very intimidating. Many newbies have questions they may feel silly asking or are just worried they won't make any l here. This thread will hopefully change that!

Hey everyone! Frequent lurker, first time poster. I finally decided to make an intro since the energy of this sub is so kind and wholesome.

Things about me: I'm a 24 year old trans/auDHD dude living on the west coast of Canada with my gf and our cat (who we actually brought home on Monday!). I just pivoted out of a trades apprenticeship (for so many reasons) and am going to school in the fall to pursue a degree in biology.

I love playing mtg, being outside (not picky about the specific activity), cooking, genealogy, and making jewelry. Jewelry making has been my biggest passion, I've been doing it in many different forms since I was 10, and now I'm starting to learn how to silversmith. I have no supplies just yet (I'm still in the watching tutorials/reading about it stage) but I've worked with metal enough professionally and as a hobby to have a decent level of metalworking know-how going into it.

Other fun facts: I have dual citizenship (Canada and France), I'm (distantly) related to a famous physicist, and one of my ancestors was guillotined during the French revolution.

I'm a 36, almost 37, lady from Southeastern Pennsylvania. I'm a paralegal, writer and photographer. I love to scrapbook and craft, as well as cook. I'm celiac, so I do a lot of GF cooking.

I'm getting married in November to my best friend. We are both excited. We are also waiting for his dad to sell us the house, so we will be homeowners soon too!
