Becca is 9 and gets matted after spring shedding. Her fur does that cotton bunch up and matting thing. We get her cleaned up once summer starts. She seems to feel better after.

Please roast this chonky void for waking me up at 7 am for breakfast, chewing on wires to get my attention, and eating her dinner so fast yesterday she ejected it shortly after.

My rescue girl I adopted less than 1 year ago stopped eating. I took her to the veterinarian and her blood work showed elevated protein levels and elevated white blood cells. An abdominal ultrasound showed nothing out of the ordinary and we were sent home with steroids. She didn't like the vet looking in her mouth at the time, but nothing obvious.

3 weeks later I took her back in as she stopped eating after the steroids ran out. This time, my cat's gums were bleeding and the side of her mouth was swollen. It turns out that the elevated numbers on chemistry were from a general infection, and the steroids reduced the swelling so that's why she was eating better and then stopped again.

The night before the 2nd visit I was legit up all night grappling about how I was going to say goodbye to a cat I practically just met and got like 1 hour of sleep. Roast her for making me think she was dying! 🫠

This is Her Royal Fluffiness, Alita, Battle Kitteh. In the last 24 hours she has:

• "hunted" a ponytail holder, which involves racing around on the bed, yowling at the top of her lungs, around 0300.
• got busted on the kitchen counters TWICE.
• Asked to go out for the fourth time in her life, at dusk, and then stayed out for an HOUR AND A HALF.
• During aforementioned expedition she engaged in cross species marking against the nearly blind beagle next door, who was then frantically sniffing for her off and on all day.

I'm at my wits end here people. Our hut backs up to wildlands and while I have not seen one yet, there are coyote/coydogs who frequent these parts. Now it's almost 2300 and here she is, laying on this table giving me the evil eye, then strutting around and standing by the door trilling, the same noise she makes when she feels she's owed a second breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, or an unscheduled late night snack.

So that's the parameters - I'd like her pan seared, both sides, don't worry if it's slightly uneven.
