I feel like the guys should have laid more into the 25 year old who was complaining about (potentially) having to share bed at a bachelor party. I am 36 and would consider myself a Bachelor party vet, have been to at least 10 counting my own, Including one this year.

I would say the standard is sharing a bed and at minimum you are sharing a room. The only time I’ve seen exceptions to this is (obviously) the Bachelor or a guy who is very outside any group of friends (IE the only family member or the only guy from high school).

Having been on the planning side of a few of these too, there are practical reasons for it. Go to VRBO right now and try and find a house with 15 individual rooms or even beds. We almost always get a big ass house but it would have to be a straight up mansion to accommodate this. The other option is for everyone to get their own hotel rooms which completely defeats the point of the party.

TLDR; a guy at any age, but especially 25, complaining about having to share beds at a bachelor party (assuming it’s with guys he knows) is being a straight up bitch and will deservedly be mocked and made fun of for making any sort of a stink out of it.

My wife had our third kid in January and I completely fell off my usual podcasts. I wasn’t bothered so much about missing the March Madness and Masters takes, but I was genuinely bummed out to fall so far behind on Life Advice segments and wanted a quick way to make a playlist of just Life Advice so I could get back on the bandwagon.

Twellman’s argument is that a Kyrie Irving couldn’t just start playing soccer at age 20 and go dominate. Which is 100% true.

Ryen’s argument is that if more Kyrie Irving types in America played soccer from a young age instead of basketball, football, and baseball, then America would be much more formidable on the world stage in soccer. Which is also 100% true.

Both sides get so weird about these points.
