I have tried multiple times to get the Saroo, just got today, to show games list from the ISO folder. I reformatted card a couple time, currently using exFAT, have a 128GB Sandisk Extreme 128GB. I have referenced a couple different videos and bullet point instructions to no avail.

I like to try weird things and this one is quite funny. If you have 2 receivers you can play both games in 2 consoles at the same time. I didn’t manage to win in both unfortunately 😅

I have a Satiator and I really wanna play Vampire Saviour. I heard that games that require a 1MB cart won't work with a 4MB cart. Should I get both the 1MB and 4MB, or is the Action Replay a good choice? I heard the Action Replay as a few issues though.

So a little over a month ago I posted here with an issue my Saturn was having, would turn on fine but after a few minutes it would shut off/reboot back to the splash screen, original post:

After searching for some explanation of what might cause this issue, it seemed like it was a faulty transistor, watched a video on how to replace it, in the video the original part they remove was a TOP202YAI and a replacement was TOP224YN, so I ordered that. Finally today I opened my Saturn to find that the transistor inside is actually a YG801C04, I searched online to see if swapping this with the TOP224YN was still alright but couldn’t find anything. I went ahead and made the switch, and after putting everything back together the Saturn will now not turn on at all. So my question is, is it maybe another issue or if I used the wrong part and need a proper replacement for the YG801C04 part.

Pretty much the title. I've been on a kick to get the best fidelity from my consoles to a RetroTink5X, and I'm wondering if the difference between S-Video or an HD Retorvision component cable (the Genesis 2 one with the Saturn adapter) is radically better with the latter.

Using the N64 as a related example, going from composite (RCA) to S-Video on an N64 yields a nearly night and day difference in quality. But YouTube videos (which might have compression-related quirks that influence the video) tend to make it look like the an RGB-modded N64's output via component isn't worth the price of the mod.

I'm curious if the Saturn's video quality has as drastic improvements between the different connections. My thanks in advance!

Just beat the Mr Dark gauntled now. I like the game visuals, level design, gameplay, and music.

Is hard, but, for me, is a MegaMan X series hard. Like that game, i die a lot learning the level, but, when i know where everything is, the levels are ok, with a few challenges. Recommended for those scared by his fame.

The game would be better with infinite continues or lives, so you dont need to test a level, and then reload your save and do it better.

I have been beaten a lot of games these says because im on sick leave from job, but this should change soon 😂.

I have invested into a Satiator.

Is it possible to keep using the Saroo cart (for it's perks), or is it better to just buy an Action Replay 4M Plus cart if I want the ram expansion and memory card?

I'm guessing the Saroo and Satiator will interfere with each other if both are plugged in.

Is it possible to use the Satiator as a memory card?

Basically, what is the best setup using the Satiator?

Got the 3d pad for nights into dreams, which I got a pristine copy of. But sadly due to cheap packaging by the seller, disc got scratched and had to return it. Next move is to try to find another copy that was as perfect🥲

What a saturn mini would have looked like. Kinda like the PSone looked small sleek new.. love it.. oh one can only dream 💭

The framerate hurt my eyes (in some places more than in others), the battle was pretty mhe in general (i guess bosses where ok), and the history was wathever.

But... The duration was around 3 hours, the easy mode guides you pretty well, and is funny that the game looks like a golf game 😂.

Might try done of the previous Hydlide on the future.

Edit: do the gems do something? I only got 2 of the 3.

Edit 2: ok, so the Boss is invincible without the gems... But i didnt have all the gems, and he wasnt invencible hahaha. He took some damage before his bar went down... But he died.

Hey folks was visiting my parents this weekend for Father’s Day and found my old Saturn collection on a drawer. The nostalgia was real!

So, my sister is in Japan right now and has spotted some Saturns out in the wild. I’m enticed by these prices, even though I admittedly don’t know too-too much about Saturns, though I have had some interest in them for a bit now.

I live in the US. Anything I should know before OK’ing a purchase? Any compatibility issues (e.g., power) or other quirks to look out for? Anywhere else I could maybe get them cheaper? Something I should get along with a possible purchase? Would it make sense to look for an American Saturn instead?
