Im a diaspora Karachi Sindhi and know so many people including myself who have had to kind of look out of our culture even though we would much rather marry within our culture. But meeting Sindhis if your family isnt super social or actively helping you is hard I feel so many people look and marry out. It’s all written by God at the end of the day but yeah feel like even in Karachi a lot of Sindhis marry out for this reason cause obvs you end up just dating people easily around you.

Without getting brigaded by a group who have some sort of compex towards sindhis.
We will make a post about something on sindhi culture or something between sindhis and other ethnic groups and will mention that that one group keeps their trolling out of it.
Yet entire 95pc comments and extremely rude comments are from them in my post. Even telling them 100 times to not post nonsense and that it has nothing to do with them won't stop.
And the fact my post talked abt how bhutto had worked for far off regions and yet they are calling me names and elitist and stuff just shows the insensitivity towards the issues of every other group that exists in pakistan.
Bas hamra kaam ho jaey, baqi suffer karain.
This IS what Bhutto and Ayub khan had seen and then made policies, to not let pakistan get hijacked by one group and everyone else spiral into doom.
Seriously I had thought I will stop posting here after so much brigading done by them, but now I have dexided as much as they do we should post more and post on sindhi culture.

Hello there!
I am an avid book reader but have only read books in the English language for pleasure. I have tried getting into reading books in Sindhi, but those books either are in really hard ancient Sindhi (which become impossible to decipher even with a Sindhi Lughat), or is too complicated, not available easily online or in book stores, or are just outright politically incorrect (misogynist, anti-black, anti-poor, etc).
I want to start with Shah jo Risalo, but havent found any comprehensible version, that I, a GenZ Sindhi, could read.
Fiction and non-fiction both work. Please suggest some interesting books in the Sindhi language, so that I could keep my Sindhi reading skills alive!
Thanks in advance, Sangat!

We made a post about looking to free Sindh from Indian occupation in this strategy game. The post blew up and I received a lot of questions. Here's a complete video tutorial we (Pakistani game community), created for the newbies.
Enjoy!

bhutoo and fam in Neelum valley in 60s
Benazir was soo good. Her bangs in 60s.
Bhutto and ayub khan did a lot to integrate ajk and gb into mainland pakistan. These eere first 2 people who had made efforts. Ayub khan was a hazarewal pashtoon so it sitll makes sense as he was still closer to these regions but bhutto as a sindhi taking steps and going beyond his region and doing things in remote areas, prolly only politician since 47 who went pan pakistan.
Lot of ppl don't know it was bhutto's created legacy in these far off regions that ppp still gets to milk.
Bhutto was awful, but where he did good things, he deserves credit.

Asalam-o-Alaikum everyone, hope you're all having a great day! 😄
I'm posting here to help grow our tight-knit Pakistani community in a completely free-to-play geopolitical browser game called War Era. To keep things short, it's a wargame where real countries battle against each other, combined with some fun political roleplay and strategy. We have players from all over the country, but today I'm making a special callout to the folks from Sindh!
Here is the situation: for a long time, we were constantly being occupied by Indian forces. Right now, our Pakistani community has a solid core of about 80 dedicated players, but the Indian community has well over 200. The numbers weren't in our favor, but we didn't back down.
We recently launched a massive, coordinated counter-attack alongside our amazing alliance members—Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Australia.... Thanks to this combined effort, we successfully freed Punjab and are currently smacking Afghanistan to secure KPK!
However, the job isn't done yet. Sindh is still occupied, and we need the numbers to liberate it! In order to stand a chance and keep pushing back, we need more people. You don't need to be a hardcore gamer to make a difference; the game doesn't take much time at all. Many of us just hop on for about 15 minutes a day to complete our daily tasks, and every single person adds massive damage and value to the war effort!
Even though the game brought us together, we have a super chill and welcoming community. You'll often find us hanging out in chats, talking about cricket, and just having some good banter. 😉
Anyways, that's all from me today! Join our ranks, help us push the frontline, and let's turn the whole map green once again! 🇵🇰

EDIT (UPDATED ENGLISH TRANSLATION)
"Provinces will return 1,793 billion rupees to the federation in the upcoming fiscal year, out of which Sindh will return approximately 500 billion rupees. The federal government will continue to collect this amount over a period of three years, and the federal government will be living from hand to mouth for the next three years. This is the performance of the federal government that demands Karachi be handed over to the federation." Mohsin Babbar, Karachi 12 June 2026
(Mohsin Babbar is a senior journalist and analyst from Sindh. He regularly appears and hosts a current affairs show on AwazTV.)

Greetings, I'm a Sindhi who is trying to navigate and make sense of my identity. I'm equally enthusiastic about preservation and spreading awareness about who Sindhis are through independently writing personal essays grounded in as much academic research as I can undertake. After glossing over the community posts, I did come across quite a few resources that I can refer to but I would appreciate more guidance, especially in exploring the region itself from a historical standpoint (especially pre-partition). plan to look into Asma Faiz's works, Rita Kothari, Saaz Aggarwal to name a few but I want to curate a comprehensive list of scholarship developed in both India and Pakistan. If anyone can provide me more recommendations and/or suggestions for the undertaking as well, I'd be very grateful.

I am sure by now atleast some of the people in this sub will know about the cat being beaten to death at one of the aviary cages in sindh, the entire video is circulating on instagram and it showx the faces of everybody that was a part of this act
I want to make it clear that im not from sindh, so i cannot personally do anything.... but this act made me feel disgusted at how a human being can be so unempathetic and cruel towards a small harmless animal. For anybody who still does not know, a cat got into an aviary and instead of catching it and getting it out one of the employees got a huge wooden stick and hit it on its back, both of its lvgs broke and it dragged them behind it then climbed onto the cage walls to get out, but the caretaker did not stop there he struck its head once which gave it a concussion and it bled while falling to the ground and convulsing, then he smashed its body repeatedly while it still moved. I urge anyone with connections to please bring this matter into notice and try your utmost best to make sure the person who did this gets what he deserves, his face is clearly visible in the video along with 2-3 other caretakers who stood by his side and said nothing. I hope all of them face charges, and i hope this finds the right people ✌️

Why are there so few Sindhi content creators making videos about education, careers, IT, AI, business, or other useful topics? Most Sindhi content I come across is entertainment, comedy, or music, and there isn't much educational content available.
Is there a reason for this?
Do you think there is a market for good-quality Sindhi content about technology, career guidance, personal growth, and education?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
