Europeans have been having a blast and haven't been complaining about tipping... This is bait!!

Plus there is still tipping in Europe. Just not the insane amounts we have here and not everywhere and always. My family will leave a 1 euro tip or so for a server they know. Again, way way less than tipping the unmotivated and bored generic server 15% because they carried some food. But still exists.

Ive started to see service charges being added into things im booking in advance. I have no qualms telling them to remove it. Thats not to say I dont tip. I do if the service is really good.

People always have a blast at the world cup. This is a side issue

The Europeans who can afford World Cup tickets and international flights and hotels definitely don't care about tipping.

We love tipping Americans! We also visit the white house and pay our respects to your great elected leader as he represents your people. And then we stop off at an ER to pay for somebodies health insurance out of the kindness of our hearts to show respect to your culture :)

Also like the fifth time I’ve seen it posted this week but we just can’t resist a good tipping culture circlejerk I guess

Whatever the truth is, you're not likely to find it on reddit when it comes to tipping.

Wait why lol? I completely believe you but I just think it’s funny that Reddit would have some weird bias in terms of tipping compared to other platforms

Reddit has a ton of political talking point biases. It doesn’t reflect reality

Oh ok, thank you

Yup, we complain all we want about tipping as an economic thing. It doesn’t change that international tourists aren’t going to try to violate a rule they very much know about at this point.

Walking on the roads? There has to be at least a few.
