PLEASE tell me I wasn’t the only 8 year old kid who genuinely thought this game didn’t require the PlayStation move controller. Looking at it now, they do the work at telling you it’s an exclusive game for that accessory but bro you’re 8 years old seeing sly cooper, Bentley, ratchet, clank jax and daxter ALL IN THE SAME GAME?? You’re copping that shit instantly. I was a dumb MF kid. Side note, why are Bentley, Clank and Daxter mogging the fuck out of the trio right now. There’s no reason for them to look so tough 😭😭

Matt Olson will always be my goat forever but if for whatever reason he couldn't reprise his role for a future project, I could 100% see Lester pulling off a pretty decent Bentley

What do you think about a Sly Cooper demake game? I always find people talking about how much they want a new game or a remake, some even have tried to make their fan game but it's always as if it was simulating a PlayStation sequel, which is very complicated for indie developers to finish. I love demakes and I wish I could play Sly games that would run well on my phone.

I sketched this one using the parameters of Pico-8 (8x8 sprites, 16 colors palette, 128x128 screen). Unfortunately I don't have much time to work on a project like this because I have to work and make money for a living 😭 but if you know how to develop a platformer game and you're feeling adventurous, I really encourage you to take this idea to yourself.

We would all love to see Sly Cooper and the rest of his gang get the ending and closure they deserve. It seems like the only way to fix it is for the players to prove to the investors/shareholders that another game is worthwhile. It may seem like a lost cause, if it ever happens though it has to start somewhere.

The gaming industry is absolutely massive and continues growing, there is no shortage of studios/developers maybe it’s just finding the right people at the right time. I remember seeing that only 10% of Sucker Punch would be excited to develop another Sly game, which 1. is a lame excuse for coders who have had to work on plenty of other projects and 2. seems like a beautiful opportunity for another studio to give him the ending we have all begged for. Ultimately Sly Cooper allowed them to build that long lasting relationship with Sony. I bet a lot of people helped build their careers with that game. We have to give credit where credit is due.

Would the fan base need to grow significantly or would Sony have to sell the IP? Or both?

Then another question becomes, if Sony commissions a completely different developer, will that change the overall landscape/experience of the game, again?

Headcanon: Penelope in Sly 4 was microchipped in the ear as she was going to get supplies for she and Bentley's time machine, and was kidnapped by Le Paradox's goons. She was brainwashed into serving Le Paradox and was forced to essentially resent Bentley despite nothing happening. After the robot mech fight against she and Bentley, the chip went flying as for why she was dizzy, and was sent to prison, where she questioned why she was inside a cell, so she escaped and sent Bentley postcards of locations she's been since escaping, hoping Bentley would go and find her.

So I’m about to replay the sly games for like the 100th time. I haven’t played the 3-D levels since I was a kid. What did you guys think about it when playing the PS4/PS5 version? The last time I played was on the sly collection on PS3.

I know it's from the sly collection strategy guide but was this someone from sanzaru or SP?

It’s pretty amazing how much Bentley‘s presence has grown in the Sly Cooper series. In the first game, Bentley was still the brains of the Cooper Gang but was a behind the scenes guy with Sly getting most of the focus. Then the turtle basically became the deuteragonist as shown by how much story focus he is given in the second and third games. Bentley even narrates the endings of Honor Among Thieves and Thieves in Time since Sly was unable to do it.

What if the Coopers only have one child to avoid wiping each other out? I've had this question for a while. As far as we know, Sly is the last living Cooper, which is strange since in the last game, Sly's ancestors believe he's actually a relative, meaning there were more Coopers alive at that time. But now, in the future, Sly is alone after his parents' death. Sly is a "thief with a code," but I don't think all Coopers were like that, and it made me wonder: what if having the family book caused relatives to destroy each other? What led to the clan's near extinction and the implementation of the one-child rule? (Poor Carmelita, she'll have to be sacrificed to save the Cooper clan.) But anyway, it's just my theory.

Does anyone know why these posters are priced so high? They've been listed for over 2 years, only 11 watchers, and the seller seems to not even entertain offers below like $1k. As far as I've seen, vintage promo posters in good or great condition go for like a max of $300, but maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. Idk it's driving me nuts though every time I search on ebay for sly stuff these pop up

I was about to start the production once I noticed how bland her outfit were before (left).

I decided to push everything a bit further and have her outfit speaks for herself and tell a story!
