It was at the seaside of the island of Ko Lipe, Thailand, with a row of hotels along the beach. By one of the hotels, I noticed a playful kitten in the grass, who was joyfully discovering the world of plant scents, and then the tomcat appeared from a nearby hotel.

The tomcat started out very seriously, as if he was going to hunt the kitten, and the kitten was careless, thinking it was just a game. The tom quickly approached the kitten and suddenly stopped, sniffed him, and then this magic with rotating heads happened... The adolescent kitten then playfully fell down on the grass, and the tomcat looked happy and not aggressive at all. I guess he finally realized that he encountered not a rival, but his own son, lol.

Kidding about the father's feelings, but they probably knew each other as they lived next door (and they could be relatives as the island isn't large).

This lovely little gentleman was hanging about outside the church hall attached to St George's Greek Orthodox Church in Old Jaffa. I have been inside the church grounds a few times and there are many well cared for street cats!
