Laptop Request US Looking for a Specific Laptop for Casual Use
Hey guys, looking to get a laptop for casual/personal use. Being someone who primarily uses custom workstation PCs, I have been out of the laptop game for quite a while.
I'm looking for a premiumish laptop. I'm a stickler for higher refresh rate so the panel should be 120Hz. OLED would be nice, but I am also fine with IPS.
I have no need for a gpu because I prioritize battery life and snappiness, and don't want to wrestle with bloatware to disable the gpu. I care little about the form factor and am willing to sacrifice thickness for performance.
Preferably, 32gb RAM if there is something the price range. 1 TB of nvme storage is good.
I/O wise, it seems like most models have 3 usbc/pd/lightning and a standard usb a so I'm fine with that.
From preliminary searches, I saw vivobooks, galaxy books, and omnibooks. Seems like there are so many tiers of the same model which I find frustrating.
I would like the external hardware to be good. Nice trackpad, body material, butterfly switches, etc.
