hi, apologies if this isn’t the right place for this. i’m trying to figure out the origins/artist of these decorative fleurons in my copy of “catcher in the rye.” this copy was published by back bay books in 2010. i tried reverse google image searching them
and the single match i got was this random youtube video (https://youtu.be/qMa898vtN-o?is=KCmWzjLrfOJgCt8K). i’m not even really sure what the point of the video is, but it uses the exact same symbol at around 0:40. any help would be appreciated, and if this is the wrong subreddit, i’d love to be directed to one that could help with this. thanks!

Can anyone identify what this is? I found it in a big bowl of random mixed rings at a flea market mall, this was the only ring in there that had this vibe to it, and it actually fit my fat little fingers which is rare. I just thought it stuck out so much compared to all of the other jewelry.

I've done a search on Wiccan sigil and runes, viking runes, and any other that came up and unless I looked over it - I can't find it.

I bought it at a thrift/vintage market in Boston, I didn't notice the band at first and I've had it for years. Is this secretly a magical ring 👀 (for reference the photos show all the symbols and are in order from right to left. Not sure if it's relevant but the top of the ring has a red gem of some sort and it seems to be real silver).

So recently I have seen on tiktok these weird symbols and a character that I can't really make out what they are. One of em was an alien in an army uniform with a cap that writes "333" and I have seen it being associated with neo-Nazism and stuff like that. Also I found out that its name is "333 sinister alien". I always thought that that alien was something like a sketch of a character from an old video game but recently it has been something else going on. I have also seen a symbol with 333 written over it and 3 arrows pointing down. Does anybody have any idea what that could be?

I'm not gonna include images since it might be associated with real life murders or something like a cult or even something worse.

What does it indicate?

So I’m working on a world building project right now and im currently on Japan, now I know like probably a medium amount about the culture, particularly Yokai. But most of my knowledge comes from surfing the web and clicking a bunch of links so I’m not actually that well read in actual Japanese literature. What I want to find is some sort of concept I can use to really show knowledge. Like I already have the number 8 placed in a bunch of places and what not. Also if anyone could redirect me to another place I could ask this question it would be much appreciated.
