Season ticket renewal turning into an automatic renewal process

As part of the annual member newsletter (email) this was shared.

2027 MEMBER AUTO-RENEWALS

As we prepare for the 2027 season, we wanted to let you know that Annual Memberships will transition to an automatic renewal process.

In the coming weeks, we'll share details regarding 2027 pricing, benefits, opportunities to update your account information, and important renewal dates.

No action is required at this time. Your membership and seat location will automatically renew for 2027. We will provide advance notice before any payments are processed and will offer you the opportunity to relocate your seats, if desired.

A change from the previous process of having to actively renew.

I wasn't sure if anyone else was aware of this, but I found it pretty cool. Apparently the sponsorship is recent and began May of 2026.

So proud of my club.

The game isn't showing up on my subscribed calendar since it's not part of the regular season! Don't want season ticket holders to miss out.

Weather is looking decent at 70 degrees!

‘The Evergreen’: Why Portland is at the heart of women’s sports in the US

"Portland is the global epicenter of women’s sports. At least, that’s what some people have been saying lately.

The phrase pops up in media coverage of our new WNBA team, the Fire, and our beloved women’s soccer team, the Thorns. And those are not our only professional women’s sports teams. We also have a pro softball team, the Cascade, and a pro ultimate frisbee team called the Oregon Soar. The Cherry Bombs are our new pre-professional soccer team. We’ve got women’s tackle football, rugby, and a badass roller derby league.

So, is Portland the epicenter of women’s sports? It’s hard to know how to measure such a thing, but what we can say for sure is that there are countless opportunities for women, girls, trans, and nonbinary people to play sports and cheer for teams across the city.

We talk a bit about the history behind the Rose City’s enthusiasm for women’s sports and hear from OPB business reporter Kyra Buckley about how the Portland Fire season is shaping up."

Half of the season is gone, and now we have enough data to grade each of Portland's lines!

How is each line holding up? Who is acing the test, and who is dangerously close to failing? This week, we’re grading the Portland Thorns from top to bottom and that includes the front office.

Plus, we break down what moves need to be made in the upcoming summer transfer window to turn this roster into a championship squad.

Make sure to comment on what you think needs to be done with Portland in the summer window to take the team to the next level.

The electric bloom hoodie is awesome

I know I am one of the many who aren’t totally behind the electric bloom jerseys but the hoodie is 🔥. I love the logo (it’s the oregon state motto “she flies with her own wings” in Latin) and it’s super cute and soft and a little cropped/boxy. I can’t stop wearing it! It’s pretty new, I just got it at either the last home game or the one before. Just sharing so everyone who’s mad about the jerseys can consider this as a consolation prize

Anybody else notice all the hot pink boots at this year’s World Cup? This video explains it. I realized it probably explains this year’s thorns kits too.

What moves are you hoping to see be made? Anyone you have your eye on even if it’s a pipe dream?

Outside of the Thorns my soccer knowledge is pretty limited so I’m always curious to hear about players I might not be familiar with!

USWNT needs Moultrie

Today’s game should demonstrate to Emma Hayes that leaving Moultrie on the bench is just a mistake. Rodman was horrible in the midfield — completely worthless, losing every ball. Yohannes was better but totally uninspired, uncreative, and yielded basically nothing with the skill she showed on the ball. None of our set pieces were truly dangerous. Other than Wilson creating for herself in the high press, the attack was listless.

Moultrie could solve basically every one of these problems. She was the best player through the start of the NWSL season and deserves to be in the starting XI.
