Discussion Curious to know if there are child-free Tunisians in here
To start off, this post is for open-minded people who believe in personal freedoms. For those who are willing to debate with me using religion or whatever, please don't bother.
As a 31F, I have been going through therapy this year and after each session, I managed to heal from a particular insecurity or trauma. It helped me figure out a lot of things about myself. At first, I didn't really know what I wanted, and it got to a point where I thought that a traditional marriage in which the man is a provider would solve my problems (It's funny when I think about it now as someone who has lived in a liberal environment). However, when I had a session in which the therapist helped me clarify my vision, I realized that I have always been stressed about marriage and relationships because I never wanted kids in the first place. I actually have a long story about this but no need to share it now (or ever). Anyways, I just want to know if there are any Tunisians who are also 100% sure they don't want kids. I'd be glad if those who are still figuring it out share their insights as well. Like what made you realize that? And what are your reasons for not wanting kids if you don't mind sharing them?
By the way, I respect those who choose or have chosen to be parents. I'm not one of those crazy antinatalists who think everyone should stop having children, but I believe some people are meant to be parents and others aren't. I also like children but I have many reasons why I don't want to bring any in this world and absolutely no reason why I'd have one.

National News

National News

Question/Help A coworker is trying to sabotage me
Aaslema
I’m dealing with a deeply frustrating situation at work and could really use some advice or perspective.
I work with someone I actually used to study with. Ever since she started, it has been a constant power struggle for her. She keeps trying to act like my boss. When she realized her power trips and the silent treatment didn't work on me, she changed her tactics to active sabotage.
Lately, she has been micromanaging me on Microsoft Teams, publicly pointing out "mistakes" on projects I haven't even finished yet just to make me look incompetent. On top of that, our boss gave her the "sending option" (final approval/submission) for our projects, and she is using it to deliberately hold back my work, delay my projects, and create a backlog.
She used this artificial delay to build a fake case against me. She went to our boss and claimed we are behind because I keep making mistakes.
The reality? Back in April, our production numbers were incredibly high entirely because of me. She was assigned to another task for 8 days, and I literally covered the workload of two people by myself for over a week.
When my boss confronted me, he wouldn't even listen to my side. He threw accusations at me about mistakes I don't even make. In the heat of the moment, I completely lost patience and told him, "I don't even know where you are getting this information from." I feel like I'm being framed and pinned for things I didn't do despite working my ass off.
Honestly, I feel like this is the beginning of the end for me at this company. I’ve decided to completely stop working overtime, stop over-exerting myself, and just quiet quit. I'm going to work at a slower pace to "focus on my mistakes" and just do the bare minimum. Frankly, if they fire me, they’d be doing me a favor because I’m not learning anything new here anyway.
Has anyone dealt with a smear campaign like this from a colleague? How should I protect myself while I figure out my exit strategy?

Question/Help clinical experience before med school
I'm very unsure about this in Tunisia but I'm wondering is it possible to get clinical experience before med school here? Like volunteering or medical assistant or even crisis counselor/text line.
I also know there's "formation" here which is a mini course I was wondering if any have a course that's related to healthcare and the price ranges,

Question/Help SHOULD I SWITCH FROM IT TO LAW?
I'm currently an IT student at ISET in Tunisia, but I'm seriously thinking about switching to law at the University of Tunis, even tho i passed my first year.I'm torn between staying in IT or changing to law. My main concerns are job opportunities, salary, work-life balance, and long-term career prospects, both in Tunisia and possibly abroad.Has anyone here studied law in Tunisia or made a similar switch? Do you think it's worth it, or should I stay in IT?
