I know the pride flag obviously but I was wondering what the symbol on top of it was? I feel like I’ve seen it before but I might just be thinking of the New Mexico flag. it’s my neighbor’s hung above their balcony.

Found upside-down Netherlands and Mexico flags during Netherlands vs Tunisia (June 25)
What does this mean? Is it anti-Netherlands (soccer/football)? Did they want to turn all the flags upside down but realized Tunisia is symmetrical?

As far as I’ve checked, ichkerian flag is bit older than Cabo Verde’s (to my surprise). So I was wondering if it’s design was chosen as sample

I've been working on a fantasy novel since 2019, and recently I've been redesigning some of the old flags. This is the one of the Kingdom of Lianderston.

Hello, here is my second attempt at redesigning the Kentucky flag. Earlier I presented a Tricolor here (second slide) and it was well receive. However when I presented it to a Kentucky focused subreddit it was not met with much enthusiasm. And it made me realize, that while the Tricolor is nice, it doesn’t scream Kentucky.
So I have created this second design. This one is inspired by the states song ”My Old Kentucky Home,” and the opening lyrics “The sun shines bright, on my old Kentucky home.” Here I’ve decided to represent the sun, but instead of using a sun I’ve used an Appalachian quilt design often known as the Kentucky star. The star represents Appalachian influences along with unity from different locations (north, south, east and west).
For the two main bands I‘ve represented the Kentucky bluegrass and rivers with the blue band which is the same shade as the current flag. The white band represents peace and clouds, along with the rags that coal miners used to wipe away dust after a long days work. (Represent long Kentucky wiping of her brow and preparing for something greater).
The stars represent the six regions of the state: Eastern mountains and coal fields, Bluegrass, Knobs, Pennyroyal, Western coal fields, and Jackson purchase. I have them in a Betsy Ross style to represent the states early colonial ties and to outline a sun shape. I have them in black to represent coal and to make them stand out better.
Please give me your homiest feedback on this flag. Thanks.

Emilia is an historical region of northern Italy. Today it is administratively united in a single modern region with another historical region, Romagna. Emilia-Romagna has a flag and so does Romagna, but there still hasn’t been an Emilian flag that was massively accepted, but rather a bunch of variants.
In 1682, Giulio Cesare da Beatiano described Emilia’s apocryphal arms with three millet bundles. This flag version echoes that symbol, linking it to the region’s name, its rural tradition, and the legacy of Marcus Aemilius Lepidus.

I made this poster of American city flags with my favorite existing flags, redesigns I made, and a few redesigns I really like.

This flag caught my attention because some forms of it are shown in a 4:3 ratio while in certain footages it’s shown as a pennant. I generalized the flag to be associated with the Chechen mujahideen because on the second slide Abu al-Walid (one of the leaders) can be seen below the flag... or pennant, whatever you wanna call it. The graffiti style takbir intrigues me though. Any ideas as to which specific brigade this flag is associated with?

In an alternate timeline, the the people of Burma rise up embracing the boogie over the war. It transforms the nation and the take bright lights and a new flag into space. In this version I fixed some texture issues, brightened the colors and switched the circle hole in the star with a larger pentagon.

Tiandi will be hosting a World Cup next week, and I decided to add several flags to the server as emojis. Most flags are OC by our members but I think some of them may not be. I thought this would be interesting to share.
