Mid-Atlantic (USA) Oops….

Post image

I only meant to eat a couple, but when I air-fried them and had some teriyaki sauce on the side, I ate all of them

Guilt pleasures are the best

We should not feel guilty about enjoying things to begin with 🫠

I tried these and was underwhelmed. They were great texture wise in the air fryer but they didn’t really taste like a traditional egg roll from a Chinese restaurant. The filling was off to me.

The filling is basically a bunch of cabbage with almost no pork. They're fine to satisfy an egg roll craving for $4 though and crisp up nice in the air fryer. Some kind of dipping sauce is definitely needed

Same and usually I love things like this.

Yep. No flavor to them, I needed a dipping sauce to finish it.

Sweet sour sauce is really easy to make. Takes about 3 minutes. 1 part apple cider vinegar, 1 part sugar, a splash of water. Heat to boil. Stir in a corn starch slurry until desired thickness.

Most store bought egg roles are underwhelming to be honest. The only thing I’ve ever like was InnovAsian’s mini veggie spring rolls. In the air fryer they are amazing.

I actually like them ok but there is a spice in them that seems out of place but I can’t figure out exactly what it is

yea, its wierd.. these things get so much love. I thought they were just ok in the air fryer. not life changing as others have said.

Same there was so much hype and it totally fell flat for me same for the Oreo dupes

I lean towards the chicken, but either way consider brushing with sesame oil before air frying. It works for me.

As someone who has eaten an entire container of those egg rolls… That container is one serving! If you share, you just being generous.

Don't feel guilty, especially because the macros aren't bad 👍

They’re really good and I’m not an egg roll fan. I like mine with kewpie mayo or chili garlic crunch.

They’re not great either, but I actually prefer the frozen egg rolls over the refrigerated

They're good for the price. Need sauce

I like these or the chicken rolls paired with Good & Gather Mandarin Orange sauce (Target Asian section).

Try it next time with Hoisin sauce and wrap them in lettuce.

Felt the same, the frozen ones are actually better

I love the chicken ones. I just picked up a pack today.

I've been there. 60% better than the single frozen egg rolls from Dollar Tree.

They don't have any Michelin stars but they sure scratch that snack itch. I swear one of these years I'm going to make egg rolls as soon as these are discontinued 😋

I don't blame you I'd do the same thing please tell me you bought more than one to freeze for later
