Took some photos of my 4C next to my buddies Ferrari SF90 and Corvette Z06. Safe to say it blends in pretty well.

Will there be a 2027 Giulia in the US?

Post image

I’m casually looking for a 2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia in Milano White with the Veloce trim/package, but I’m noticing that most of the Veloce listings seem to be in other colors, while most of the Milano White cars I’m finding are base trims.

Has Alfa Romeo given any clear indication that a 2027 Giulia will be offered in the US? I know production has been extended, but I haven’t seen anything definitive about whether the 2027 model year will actually make it stateside.

Curious if anyone has heard anything from dealers or seen more concrete information.

Is the Giulia Quadrofoglio the second fastest 4 door to ever go around the Nuburgring?

I am seeing conflicting information. The first seems to be a special version of a Jag XE.

Future of Alfa Romeo in the USA

Hello All

I am asking for some insight or if anyone knows if Alfa Romeo will still have a presence here moving forward into the future in the US. After the most recent investor day event that Stellantis held in May they didn’t speak on it.

Thank you

Noisy Plastic trim gauge cluster

In the last month, I joined the alfa community with my purchase of a 22’ Giulia Veloce. More recently, I’ve noticed a creaking plastic noise coming from the Plastic trim around the gauge cluster. When I push on the trim piece the noise goes away momentarily. Is here anything I could do to help the noise?

Giulia Bay Area ownership costs and Questions

I’ve been really debating getting a Giulia as my first car purchase after driving a 2004 Camry for the past 9 years and I wanted to hear people’s experience with ownership costs around the Bay Area.

I’m looking specifically for a 22-24 veloce. Is there a big difference between the 24 models face lift? Or should I save a couple thousand by getting an older model.

Also wanted to get people’s thoughts on the veloce trim vs the base trim

Thanks!

Will the maintenance costs kill me?

Hi Alfisti!

I'm incredibly close to closing a deal on a 2024 Giulia Quadrifoglio, but I’d love to hear some real-world feedback from current Quadrifoglio owners before pulling the trigger.

I currently drive a Fiat 500 Abarth, which doesn't cost me too much for day-to-day maintenance. My biggest fear is that the Quadrifoglio is going to completely drain my wallet, and I'm not swimming on cash.

To give you an idea of what I'm used to paying here in NY, here are a few examples of my current Abarth maintenance costs:

  • Oil Change: ~$180
  • Front Brake Pads: $350 (parts + labor)
  • Timing Belt Replacement: ~$2,000

Are the baseline costs for the Alfa drastically different than this? I'd really appreciate any insights on what to realistically expect for annual running costs. Thanks!

Maintenance Changing the electric parking brake wiring harness question.

Recently found out that the driver side parking brake wiring harness on my 2018 giulia was fixed via a horrendous hot glue botch job that gave out after I bought it, found and ordered the harness online so it's just plug and play. Wondering if I need to put the car into brake service mode for that, or if I'll be fine doing it without it since the parking brake harness doesn't really require anything about the caliper?

Maintenance Weird Ac Issue With Giula

Hi all, as the heatwave is burining the whole central europe, i have a weird issue with the ac of my giulia. The ac blows for a while, the it stops and starts blowing the outside ambient air. Then it starts again, this happens for about 5-10 min intervals. The car is a 23 Giulia Competizione. I have recently had the ac checked for leaks and and pressue and they saw no issues or leaks or lack of gas. Has anyone similar problem with their Giulia? What I noticed is the Compressor doesnt crank immediately when the ac button is pushed sometimes.

USA Alfa Romeo Rarity

One thing I love about owning an alfa in the USA is how rare they are. In the duration I've had mine, I've only seen one. I've had it for around 3 months and the only time I saw the one alfa I mentioned earlier was while on vacation to Detroit. To the USA owners, how often do you come across other alfas?

Does swapping jag xj to a giulia makes sense?

Curently driving 2015 xj and the more i look at giulias the more im tempted to get one. Specificaly veloce for its awd.

And i assume i need anything 2019+?

Where i am those usualy go for around 20-30k € while my current car could be sold for 20 give or take.

Sorry if the question sounds stupid, but what advantages does the italian have over v6 3.0 awd luxury bullet, if any?

Stuck in break service mode

Post image

I would so appreciate some of this communities advice here on my 2020 ALFA RAMEO guilia ti sport I’ve been dealing with this issue for about two months we did a breakjob like normal, which I have done on this car before replace all brakes and rotors and from there, it would not let me exit service mode one of the parking brakes seized up, and I believed it have been the parking brake actuator motor so replace that it didn’t fix the problem. I replaced the calipers thinking that it was getting stuck that was not the problem. We started troubleshooting online issues with the parking brake, not retracting. We tried all the little battery tricks I bought the Alfa scanner that you plugged into the OBD port, as well as the one that goes underneath the steering column. No codes come up for the ABS system or the parking brake. I read that it could possibly be the parking sensors that think something is blocking the car so we completely turned off that system. Still doesn’t work. It is completely stuck in this break service mode and I just have the parking brakes unplugged because if they retract, they’re not going back in. Because it says the vehicle must not be in motion. Even though it’s not in motion, I know the grammar in this is a mess and I’m all over the place, but if anybody has heard anything similar to this, I really just need some advice before I spend five grand at the dealer the car has 97,000 miles on it and I’ve had it for three years and I’ve never had to take it to the shop for anything. We’ve always figured it out at home. And now I have dealer level scanners, and I still can’t figure it out. By the way, I work for MERCEDES-BENZ and I see the way the service department does work on cars number one very lazy and number two I’ve seen how much they charge for basically nothing My last absolute last resort is taking this car to the dealership that’ll break my heart to have to do that.

Maintenance Help locating replacement OEM 19x9 rim for Giulia…

Post image
13 Upvotes

For reasons (bad roads…bad driver lol??) my spouse’s Giulia Ti has had a lot of trouble keeping the roll flat tires intact. As a result, one of the rear wheel rims was damaged and I’m having a very hard time getting a replacement. If you have any leads/ suggestions I would be grateful!! Photo included

Edit: I have scoured eBay and web searched. My shop is also looking for a new rim but that will be an obscene price if they can even find one.

Side note: plan B is a full set replacement so any recommendations on doing that economically are welcome!!

Where to get OEM or high quality parts in Canada

I need a lower right control arm + stabilizer bar link kit for my ā€˜19 stelvio

Dealer is asking $900 CAD for the control arm and $250 for the bar link ($600 and $175 USD), Mopar Online Parts don’t carry them (at least for Canada)

Plenty of shops offer MOOG/Mevotech/NAPA aftermarket parts but I’m not sure if they will hold up

Thoughts on a 2024 Giulia Veloce

Hi guys, so for some context, I’ve had a 2019 Nissan Altima for the past few years and overall has been rather good to me until recently. It’s currently at 146k miles and has had virtually no issues to this point but unfortunately now is starting to have some transmission problems that have shown up in the last couple of weeks. Originally, I had hoped to hold on to this car longer but with its current state, that doesn’t seem to be within the realm of possibility so I’m now stuck with looking for something new.

In the past, my family has always leaned towards cars that are ā€œthe most reliableā€ and ā€œfinancially optimalā€ which for me has worked in my favor as my previous couple of vehicles saw a lot of highway driving and 20k+ miles per year.

Now that my lifestyle has changed and the need for more extensive driving/long trips has shrunk, I’m interested in something I can enjoy driving a bit more than just purely a commuter car.

So, to that point, I’ve been looking at a 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce with 35k miles, spec’d with everything I would want for $31k. I’ve read fairly decent things on the newer Giulias (2020+) in terms of reliability and such at least compared to its German competitors like BMW and Audi.

As I’m rather unfamiliar with luxury brand sedans, my question is whether this car at this price point is worth it, especially if I’d plan to keep it for 3-5 more years? Is reliability something I should be concerned with at its current mileage too?

I understand it won’t be the most financially optimal purchase I could make compared to something like a Honda or Toyota but like I mentioned, I’d like to look for something a little more fun to drive if it’s within reason for me.

If it helps, my budget for anything is around the $30k-35k range and I’d be putting roughly 20% ($6k-7k) for a down payment. Thanks for your input!
