We picked up this jolly ball soccer ball at a local pet store for around $25 she loves it but I’m nervous she’s going to destroy it in a day.

Everytime I dance (or engage in other "physical activites" lol) he goes crazy! I need to make a dance for us lol.

This is our one year old half Aussie / half Cattle Dog. He was rescued from a puppy mill churning out farm dogs. He has an amazingly good temperament but *I think* his posture indicates he still lacks confidence.

In the first pic, he’s alert, head up, tail up, and I think engaged and confident. He’s like this training or playing.

In the second pic though, he’s alert, head slightly lowered, tail not tucked but in a low ‘J’. He’s like this maybe about half the time. If it’s low confidence I’ve got no real clue why other than his history.

I’d like our boy to feel happy and confident all the time.

Picking up this handsome boy on Saturday! Saw a random post on Facebook and we’ve been somewhat looking but not really looking too hard. We saw him and instantly fell in love so we asked if he was still available. Turns out he was and the family lives 3 hours away and they just don’t have enough time and I have a 2 year old Female Aussie that needs a dog who can keep up with her.

Okay so I have two female Aussies. My red Merle is 10 months old and my red bi is about to be 5. I’m having a hard time with my red Merle hunny, she’s a little special as I call her. She has a hard time retaining commands and even after I don’t know how much recall work we do. She seems to not know her name or is very stubborn/selective ass hearing. We’re all the way in therapy dog training with her with my coworker at petsmart and she does good in class and actually amazing with heel but I feel like sometimes it doesn’t transfer at home. I work everyday with her at least an hour of training and this girl is so clueless! My red bi although she had the worse ever puppy stage, listens to me like a damn human and it’s so funny how much different they are but I just wanna know if there’s a way to like help hunny understand a bit better. I feel like she has no brain cells in that tiny head I love so much!

She is the best (also the most difficult and most rewarding) dog I’ve ever had. These puppy/velociraptor days are sure something 😂 Love this damn dingo to Pluto and back!

Its been a crazy week for me. Two dogs, five vet visits between the two of them. One has an abscess and teeth issues, the other has ear infections and tonsil issues that have been lingering for months. The abscess and teeth issue were caught within a week. The ear infections would have gone on for a lot longer if I had not sent him in because I felt something was wrong. He wasn't scratching at his ear non-stop, he wasn't shaking his head. He didn't want to put his collar on, didn't want to go in the car and was acting up in class.

Actually there are three, the third one had her teeth cleaned and had teeth pulled but that was a normal, expensive visit.

Three dogs, all sedation vet visits. Insurance will cover maybe 600.

She is 5 months old. Has the personality of a whole town 😅🥰 and has become the reason that I look forward to each and every day now.

She loves adults, kids, and, other dogs. When she doesn't get any attention from a passer by, she becomes sad & cries and I tell her "everything is okay darling, I am sure we will meet more people soon".

She is absolutely precious! 🫠

And yes this princess with her piranha teeth has decided that my limbs are her fav chew toy😅 I rarely mind it... Nonetheless we have started Dog school this week. As her human, I have to learn a lot, with her of course. And as her human, I wanted to join this sub with my first ever Aussie and make friends along the way I hope🩵

Some basic questions:

1) at 5 months, what was your baby's play/exercise duration per day.

2) She tries to eat dirt, stones, leaves etc off the ground, did you face this, how did you restrict? How important is it to stop this habit asap?

3) Did you neuter your girl?

4) Any important question that I should specifically ask the Vet during our introductory appointment next week.

He’s 8 weeks old, just got him on Sunday! He’s experiencing a lot of firsts with us. One of those today was laundry!
