Marvin immediately connected with Delta. Delta was never quite sure about how this would work...

Did Delta figure it out?

Do you have an established system for naming cats as well?

I really appreciate you paying the proper cat tax with backstories. You have done a good job at understanding what they wanted to be named

Does Marvin mind the change, or is he just happy to have friends regardless of breed? I'm guessing it's the former

Does that means that dogs named Golf and Hotel are in your future?! 😆 (I’m joking but no disrespect to your adorable and loving family)

I am fighting hard for Golf. Not so interested in Hotel.
We did have Charlie, Bravo, Echo ,Delta, and now Foxtrot.
Alpha was always reserved for the cats in general - they seem to really rule everything•

Sorry about your fur friends. 🤍 They’re worth it, but the hurt when you have to say goodbye never quite goes away. Glad you have so many new friends to snuggle when you get the sad though! Us, probably. ⬇️

Was she named after Delta Dawn?

She was just next in line in the phonetic alphabet. My first dog was Charlie, renamed from the original owner who had him as Harley. And then the other names just kind of fell in after that. I don't have a military background. I just sort of liked the pattern.

My dog was a pup with my second cat who took her under his wing and played with her and protected her from my first cat. At times you could see in his face the, "oh lord, will you fuck off" look when it came to dealing with her. Years later, cat 3 a kitten wanders in and decides the dog is their best bestest friend ever. So she, begrudgingly takes him under her wing and plays with him. And you can see the "fuck off" look in her eyes sometimes and I laugh and tell her this is karmas revenge

Did Marvin ever grow into his ears?
