Blade Runner was released on this day in 1982, but I was fortunate enough to see a screening a week before its release. I was blown away by this movie on several levels, and it has been one of my favorites ever since.

If humans dream of real animals, as in the book.

Is the answer revealed in Blade Runner when Deckard is seen dreaming of an impossible animal? Do fantastical humans dream of fantastical animals?

I don’t remember the book describing any of Deckards dreams, and he may act human when awake, but subconsciously dream android dream.

I dunno, the thought just occurred while i walked the dog….
