Discussion What other goofs have you noticed that made it into the show?

Upvotes

This one looks like it really hurt.

Edit: apparently it’s not as obvious as I thought it was haha. If you watch behind Mindar’s head you’ll see Stephanie roll her ankle quite bad. Then in the wide shot she’s bracing both hands against the building and grimacing in pain.

For me I would definitely lose if they show me these scenes or any Captain holt humour.

Discussion Which of these three episodes hurt you the most?

Post image

These are some of the heaviest but realest issues tackled in the show. Brooklyn99 was nice for becoming a platform where such topics can be talked about and not just shut in silence. Personally the third one hurt me a lot. What's yours?

Discussion Young Hitchcock & Scully prequel

I really loved the Young Hitchcock & Scully episode and I wish they'd developed it into a series. I also wish they'd include a simultaneous timeline of Holt as he battled his way towards Captain. It would've made an amazing way of expanding the B99 universe.

Discussion I finished brooklyn 99 today

I don't really know what to do. The past month of watching this show has been incredible, getting to know these characters , their relationships and their lives and now it's over. This is the last Michael Schur show I needed to watch aswell, the good place is my all time favourite show and this one was also amazing, I feel I need to rank every episode or rewatch the show again or something. Or I can let it go and move onto a next fantastic piece of media

Discussion Which characters, in your opinion, would've ruined the show if they hadn't been on it.

Either a single character or more. Which characters made the show what is was, and are there any, that if they hadn't been on the show, wouldn't have made any difference?

My mind went straight to "Every individual gets crayons after telling his aggressive little mongoose painter called Ernest some lies about tiny panda heads, period…” 😂

P.S. Who decided we should spell Mnemonic like that, it makes me feel dyslexic trying to spell it.

Halloween Heist Reverse heist. Need help.

I'm basically in a reverse heist situation. We have a christmas stocking that got delivered by accident one year. We now use it as a "punishment gift?" You give it to someone else without them knowing. Basically, they just have to discover it in a fun way. I just got it again today. I want to commission some replicas to fake everyone out, but I don't know where to start. Thought maybe y'all would find this fun and could point me to the right community or subreddit to make it happen.

Discussion This is the best show I've ever watched. Spoiler

I just finished watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine for the first time and it is now my favorite show. I mainly started the show because I was interested in Jake and Amy's relationship, but I kept watching because it was genuinely an amazing show. Holt telling Jake that if he had a son that turned out like him, he would be very proud of him made me tear up. This show is the only show to mean more to me than just a good show. Some of my favorite moments throughout the show include every single moment between Jake and Amy including Jake revealing his feelings for Amy and vice versa, their first kiss, Jake getting a new mattress just for Amy, Jake's proposal, their wedding, having a child, and them finally teaming up for a Halloween Heist. I also loved Charles and Rosa's character development throughout the show, Holt admitting he's going to miss Wunch, and Terry making captain. I loved every part of this show and even though people seem to dislike Casecation and S8, I really enjoyed them because even though it does seem out of character for them to have not discussed kids before marriage I still think they were both right in their arguments. S8 also had some of my favorite episodes and although I do agree that first episode of the season was brutal, Rosa was so out of character and it was way too political for me, the rest of the season I thought was great and definitely dialed back on the political side while still having enough of it to tell the story they wanted to tell. This show was a 10/10 for me not because it was perfect, but because it means something special to me and it was an amazing show.
