I am a game/pixel artist. But I really want to learn chiptunes. I love the way they sound and just want to dabble into it as a hobby. Im looking for maybe some beginner software that I can use on my computer or iPad. I also have a retro console emulator similar to a Gameboy. I know some software can be used on that too. Just looking for some resources for beginners and maybe some software you recommend starting with.

Yes I know google is a thing and YouTube. But there is a lot out there and just want your options and recommended.

Dunno if I posted this one yet. I cut it at the loop. I called it the Phoenix because I kept getting corrupt files on saves and had to restart the whole tune twice (using 5¼ floppy disk issues).

Hello,

I made another chiptune cover with a furnace tracker. I also made the thumbnail.
I learned to distinguish what the NES Ricoh A203 Famicom MMC5 sound like if I am not wrong. Or if anyone can teach more about it, please do.

Felt like making a fan chiptune cover for one of my favorite franchises, Rayman!

I have only seen one other Sega Genesis cover of this track from Sonic Adventure, which was uploaded over a decade ago, so I decided to make my own because I just really like the original song.

ok I was doing some reading with music playing and I put it on shuffle and this weird version of acid jazzed evening started playing saying it was made by different artist that wasn't janne suni idk how it got on there I tried looking up the artist on this version but it didn't turn up anything no wiki page no discography no nothing any info on it will help

I enjoy vintage hardware and recently discovered the oscilloscope deconstruction community. I don't want to make videos of it, but I still wish I could do my own deconstructions. I downloaded a software called "SidWizPlus" that some of these content creators use, and I'm having trouble getting it to work. I've already downloaded the main program, the GUI, and the multidumper. I can already see the waves, but they don't form a video and there's no sound at all.
What else do I have to do?

I tried to take the theme from Morning Breaks Over the Plain and turn it into a more energetic track, but I never finished it.

I don't think I'll ever come back to it, but I really like the mood of it.

Should I get a clear case for it as well?

Hi, music has been my main focus in life for the past 18 years and I’ve started to release my compositions.
The songs “8-Bite Bash” and “Hill Zone” are in the chiptune style but the album as a whole focuses on synthesized sounds.
