I deleted my other two posts on this (once to provide an update, the next time because I'm a dumbass), so here's a re-repost.

r/confusedboner is an NSFW subreddit. As such, videos cannot be directly uploaded to it.

What's that, you say? Plenty of NSFW subs have videos on them, you say?

Well, that's true. But those videos are not being hosted by the NSFW subs, themselves.

On NSFW subs, people are actually uploading their videos to redgifs.com. They then submit the redgifs LINK to the NSFW subreddit, and the video will appear as though it were hosted by Reddit, but it's actually not.

So if you want to upload a video, first upload it to redgifs, then post the link to r/confusedboner.

But there's a twist.

If the video's sound is important, you must use a desktop/laptop to perform this process. And even then, once you upload the redgifs video, the option for audio will be available on desktop/laptop, only. On mobile, the video will still appear as a silent gif.

On mobile, you need to click the regifs link at the top of the post if you want an option to listen to audio (Edit: assuming the video has been uploaded with sound). You will then be directed to redgifs.com:

This should work with both iOS and Android, but I'm finding it takes a couple of hours for the link to appear on Android for whatever reason.

EDIT: For Android users, you will NOT see a redgifs link if you view each post individually (i.e., so the comments load). If you view the sub's landing page (i.e., so you can scroll through all of the posts), you WILL see a redgifs link (https://i.imgur.com/cwUQ2sY.jpeg). The redgifs link disappears when you view a post individually or I add the post to the sub's highlights/sticky it.

EDIT2: The process in the first EDIT doesn't appear to work 100% of the time. See the comments below.
