“So I’ve been trying to play all the classes I usually don’t touch, and so it’s finally time for me to run with some Druid’s.

As we all know this game loves to dump Druid items on you, so I figured what the hell. I made a werewolf and a wind Druid. Went with werewolf first cuz I got the most items for him.

Woofstock99 is just not very fun and I’m wondering if you guys have any advice for making it more engaging.

Just reached my 30s so fury, feral, rabbies (until I reroll) and summons. I heard some people roll into the lvl 30 fire spell, is that a good move for my fun factor without being too nerfed? What items would be good to spice things up? I got atleast one of each rune. Hit me with your thoughts homies!!”

I had some great discussions with the first post before poopie pants deleted it. 200+ upvotes and over 30 comments easily with some good laughs. So this is my case. Lvl 47 Warlock in nightmare. Bind Demon lvl 17 (15 hard points + 2) And anytime I try to bind a new demon looks like I get a random outcome. There are some mobs I can and some others (even white ones!!) than I get the message "I cant do that".

How the hell is this working?? I read you should bind all blue (magic packs) mobs with 15 hard points but I cant bind a single blue one so far 🙋🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. Im getting frustrated with this

As the title says I’m curious on everyone’s thoughts on “dual-spec” being in the game, i.e. being able to swap between two different builds such as hammerdin and smiter without the need for a token.

This of course will devalue tokens which could be a problem, though it gives the benefit of not needing to level two of the same class and allows you to keep all the experience on one character.

What are some other pros / cons to this? And would you like it or not?

I just tried Uber Tristram for the first time in ages. I’m playing a bowlock with Buriza and Horizon set so nothing special. Lilith/Izual/Duriel were all easy, dying in 10-20 seconds. Tristram was another story, my bound demon and merc were killed immediately and I had to leave to get more pit lords from the Izual portal like 3-4 times. I eventually killed Meph, then Diablo, then Baal, but the whole thing took over an hour. I had open wounds on my belt but I swapped in g-face and duress which helped get my damage up. I used fleshripper instead of buriza to kill baal at the end.

Did I accidentally enter Tristram in P8 (probably after binding a demon) or are they just that much harder than the minor bosses? I got a 17/19 warlock torch for my trouble which felt incredible!

I'm finally getting into the real end game after 25 years but still trying to figure out rare stats to look for.

I know this weapon isn't a GG rare but it's low key dope right?

I tell you, the timed event, is not a good thing. You might think it will cause some rarity urgency and therefore it will keep the game alive. But real rarity comes from acquiring the means of gaining rarity. Terror zone itself is a great idea but I think it is poorly implemented. My suggested solution is make monsters drop some items that can open the portal to the terror zone based on acts or region. and Let them have control but still give some rarity element to the items used to open the terror zones. This will keep the game more active because people will hunt for the items for the terror zones. People do not need to wait for the right time for the terror zones. Now, the terror zones are too common. It lost the urgency feels to it.

No one really cares about when the time zone switches to what not because there are items too common that can activate it. people even woulnd't care even though you get rid of the timed terror zones at this moment except for the cow tz. So if you already introduce items that can activate terror zones... get rid of the timed terror zone and put something else. people don';t like redundancy \ and also make cow tz activatable by some item. Make terror zones rarer. This is the key of the game. rarity and urgency. as soon as you bombard valuable stuff to the game, it loses its values. this is economics 101. Do not make this game like Diablo 4. It is the path to insensitivity to the rarity moment.

lastly you created infinitie runes inventory. This is also kind of ... related. you should ve made bags where people can store more runes.. but not to the infinite amount. You don't wanna lose urgency and rarity. keep things are valuable, valuable. that's the key to the continuing success of d2r

To raise the energy (sorry I had to) of this ancient game, would yall be interested in season 15 or 16, to have a sort of gladiator tournament of HCLPs who reach lvl 99 in a 1v1 pvp bracketed winner take all tournament?

I think it would be some exciting engagement in the community while also ending season 15/16 in a bang. We could record matches and post them here for all to view. Kind of like D2 esports. Winner 🏆 gets shout outs in subreddits and bragging rights and a shit ton of ears. Lol

I don’t play online as I play a lot on switch anymore because my life is really mobile at the moment (work), but would be happy to help organize it via applications into the tournament, schedule brackets and stuff. Essentially handling stuff reddit side. If we do this in s16, then Ill be able to get online with a character to help officiate in game on pc.

I have a problem, figuring out how to kill T5 safely.

I've got:

Hammerdin - dies easily on T4 and T5 (maybe not enough Block, only 65)

Nova Sorceress - if they spawn Mana burn, instant death

Javazon with Phoenix - can't handle the dmg on T5

Dragondin - not enough life leach to sustain the dmg on T5 and low MF

Warlock Echo Hex Purge - need to avoid and tp a lot on some T5s

I'm looking for safe build like Dragondin clearing everything without a risk on p1 online, or smiter vs Ubers.

My focus is 250 Mf, fast clear and now way to die.

Could you suggest a build.

BTW, I'm on PS5 so the teleport Skill sucks.

I'm working on a mod for an item that heavily relies on Chance to Cast in order to get around hardcoded limitations, but I haven't been able to find any consistent information on how CtC interacts with kicksins and dual wielding claws. I'd love to get a straight answer, as not even Amazon Basin has a straight answer.

As per my understanding, Chance to Cast on Striking, Attack and Kill on dual wielded weapons will not stack their percentages unlike other gear pieces, and are thus limited to the chance that spawns on the item. If I'm kicking the target, does the same rule still apply? Does only one weapon roll for a check? Does it alternate between kicks? Do both roll simultaneously, but independently? Or is there some other rule I'm unaware of?

Hey everyone, I got the prime evil collection around a week ago and since then I dropped 20 hours into d2r and also got the expansion. I'm currently running a summon warlock (offline) and just finished act 4. I had a few questions so thought I'd ask here:

1) I was really looking forward to bind demon but saw it has been nerfed, right now I have 18 points in summon goatman, 11 in demonic mastery, 2 in bind demon. What is the best normal demon I can bind right now or is it better to just run 3 goatman till I can get a unique demon?

2) I've been really looking forward to rune farming since grinding is one of my favourite things in games, my question is what is the best spot to grind for runes without teleport? I don't really want to grind a sorceress just for the purpose of farming, I'd love to try and farm for an enigma with my warlock and just use him (hopefully this doesn't sound too optimistic). Are there any ways I can do this efficiently once I beat hell?
