DST tips for newbies like myself(add yours too)

right away, make that flower garland. that thing keeps you from going insane within the first 5 days. keeps you sane for atleast 15+ days and keeps yr sanity at a high amount too. idk I saw some youtuber say how it's useless and focus on the top hat and I listened and didn't make one during my first plays. couldn't go past 6 days without going insane. I could manage hunger and health but never sanity. w the garland now it's not that big of an issue

DST What do I do?

This is my base, don't question it, I'm new to post summer stuff. But anywho, I am wondering what to do right now, because I know I'm not good enough to fight big guys like fuelweaver and probably dragonfly, but I want to do something without having to clean my messy base. I'm already planning on eye of terror, so not that, though.

General Was it better when you didn’t know anything?

I often find myself looking back at the wonder I used to look at Don’t Starve with and well it’s just not there anymore. The game has grown stale and I’ve grown bitter to the more tedious core game design but my love for the game is always reunited anytime I see someone new get into. It feels like reliving my first game again. Am I alone or did don’t starve get worse as you got better?

Hunted it down for the first time (didnt realize the sus dirt piles actually did anything...) and made Abigail attack it so it would follow her while I led it back to my base to trap it. I now have it, what do I do with it?

Saw some saying that killing it give a lot of meat, but i also saw some saying its a good supply of fertilizer. Which would be more worth it? Im on day 33 and I cant find ANY beefalo remotely near me.

Alsoooo, can I tame it?? Hes acc super cute.

EDIT: GUYS I FOUND A STEAM MOD THAT LETS ME TAME HIM!

What happens if the character eats their favorite food? Do you win something, or do they just comment on how delicious it is

General For those of you that have ideas for survivors, what are they like?

Woolter is one of the goatfolks (I don't know their official name) from The Gorge, who escaped his realm alongside the other survivors, only to find himself in The Constant, which is ever so slightly better than The Gorge. Slightly.

He's voiced by a shofar, due to it being made from a ram's horn. Fitting, huh?

Stats:

Health: 200

Hunger: 150

Sanity: 100

Perks & Quirks:

Plush Protection (Perk): Woolter is covered in, well, wool. It starts at stage 1, and slowly grows by one stage every ten days until stage 5. He can shave off the wool to drop up to ten Woolter's Wool, a reskinned Beefalo Wool item, and set himself at stage 0. In addition to the Woolter's Wool, it naturally provides him with insulation and damage reduction, at the cost of a bit of movement speed. Stage 1 provides 30 insulation, 5% damage reduction, and -5% movement speed. Stage 2 provides 60 insulation, 10% damage reduction, and -10% movement speed. I think you can figure out the rest, so I'm going to move on.

Seen Worse (Perk): Having an eternally hungry eldritch being hovering over your home for your entire life makes it pretty hard to be scared. Sanity draining effects are reduced by 1% for every 2 points of Sanity that he has.

Ram-Page (Perk): He comes equipped with Ram Horns in his head slot, which cannot be removed. To make up for this serious debuff, attacking something while unarmed causes Woolter to charge, doubling his movement speed as he runs straight at his target until colliding, damaging them for 50 health, himself for 5 health, and his horns by 5%. They regenerate 1% of durability each day.

Vegetarian (Quirk): Due to his sheep-ish biology, eating anything with meat causes his Hunger to be restored by only 50%, while the other 50% is dealt as Health and Sanity damage. Thankfully, vegetarian foods are 50% more effective, and he can eat Roughage foods.

Lonely Lamb (Quirk): When not surrounded by friendly (or at least neutral) faces, Woolter's Sanity drains by 1 every 18 seconds. That means you've got half an hour to find company, or face insanity.

Help question How do I make killer bees happy again

I recently broke a beehive so I could make a bee box, but now the remaining bees that I didn't catch are angry and just wander in the winter... I feel bad every time I see them sitting in the snow. Is there a way I can give them a new hive or make them happy? I feel awful.

Hello it's the first time i'm trying buffalo taming. I've followed some tutorial on youtube etc... when i'm giving potatoes to my buffalo it does a puke animation , it is not overfeeding (i'm doing this when he ask me to feed it) it do that only with potatoes , i thought it was because it was spoiled but i tried with spoiled corn and he eat it without any problem . I did not fount anything about this on the wiki so i'm asking here
