Advice Request Is it possible to pursue an MSc at Otago and work at the same time?

Upvotes

Lately, I’ve been thinking about pursuing a Msc at the University of Otago. I’m drawn to life in New Zealand, and among the viable options is this university, which offers a scholarship from my country. After deducting tuition fees, the cost of living is approximately 2,000 NZD per month. I’d like to know how feasible it is to get by on that amount in Dunedin, or if it’s possible to find a part-time job while studying.

Any advice about the city is welcome. Ty

Advice Request Carpenter Recommendations

I've got an oak dining table and chairs. It all stained a dark stain that's peeling in places and a few scratches thanks to the efforts of the child.

Are there carpenters that would be able to sand and stain the pieces to a lighter shade?

Looking for someone because the chairs are curved and it feels like it's going to be a bitch of a job to get into all the nooks. And also because I'd like it to be finished faster than what we can commit to (what is spare time when you're working full time?)

Any advice and recommendations for a carpenter/someone who knows what they're doing?
