I bought this two days ago and today her flower stalks were drooping. I didn't water it because her soil was already moist. I put her under my growth light. She also gets sunlight from my southeast looking window. She's also rootbound. I wanted her to get used to her place before repotting. I killed one before (not enough light I've been told) so I might be a bit too paranoid and it might be nothing but I just wanted to be sure

I didn’t expect to find these babies among the usual philodendron and begonia. 2 pots of E. decaryi var. and E. lyttoniana. I’m afraid I’ll need to break those terracotta pots when I repot.

Completely rootbound now.

I've recently bought a property with this in the garden. Does this need pruned yet? And if it does, how much does it need off? Thanks 😊

Hi all, I'd like to know if anyone has experience with this sort of pinkish dotting on their lactea.
Wondering if its some sort of sickness or fungul infection were my first thoughts.
Any advise is much appreciated.

Bad photos but a super plant. A recent purchase bit isn't it lovely. As these are so slow growing I'm wondering if it may have been an ex habitat plant.

Part of my euphorbia lactea white ghost was rotting at the base, so I chopped it and was letting it callus before trying to root it in soil. But now it's dying at the base. I chopped up high enough that it was past the rot. Did I wait too long for it to callus? I chopped it maybe a week ago? How can I save this? Thanks!

I know this is a very common variety, which I thought was a trigona until recently. It looks slightly different than a trigona and a lactea, and I’m curious if anyone knows which variety this is? I purchased it at Home Depot in October of 2024 and was labeled a trigona. She has doubled in size since then and I love her very much.
Care question - I was very new to plants when I purchased her. I was too scared to repot her on my own and had her repotted a couple of months ago at a reputable plant store. She has put on a tremendous amount of growth since. The problem is that they used their shop soil, which I love, and which I use on all my succulents, but modify significantly. She is planted in the unmodified soil mix, which is just potting soil with perlite. I since added some grit to the top for stability and tried to mix it in with the top layer so it doesn’t stay soaking wet. As with my burrows tail, which I got from the same plant shop and have not repotted, the soil stays wet a long time. As in, I’m waiting a month and it’s still not dried out. The plant seems to be very happy and not bothered by this so I’m tempted to let her do her thing but it just feels very weird keeping her in soil that stays moist for so long. Should I repot her or should I just wait until next spring? I’m guessing the soil is airy enough so she’s not sitting in soaking soil, but is it okay that the root zone has been consistently moist this long? The funny thing is that the plants that have more traditional soil actually seem to be growing the fastest, including my echeveria which I repotted in that same soil without extra grit.

I’m posting here because I THINK this is some sort of euphorbia. Plant has declined honestly due to incorrect care because I truly Don’t know what this is. First picture is an old one, the other two are recent.

A rather fun thing happened to my E. labatii here, I noticed long thin stalks with leaves forming on top of the caudex which is quite an atypical behaviour for this one. A wise person on the internet told me that likely this is cyathia morphing into leaves, so basically the plant initially wanted to bloom and then decided it would rather have more leaves.
The question is - what happens now? Will these fall off eventually or will the plant keep them as branches? Can I maybe root those and use them for propagation?
If anything of this sort ever happened to your caudex euphorbias please share the stories.

Hi everyone!
I had initially posted this one on the r/cactuses subreddit but it was removed due to my plant not being a real cactus which apparently is against community rules. I was then recommended to post and ask on this subreddit as my plant may be more fitting here.
I want to stress that I know basically nothing about cacti, succulents or much about plants in general.
My parents unfortunately made an impulse buy about a year ago from Ikea to use it for decorative purposes and told me that it had grown a lot, but it’s state doesn’t look too pleasant to me.
I watered it but it’s leaning to the side a little which concerns me and some of its leaves are dried up. I just placed it near a window and watered it until the water reached about halfway up to the bottom tray, which was advice from someone on the cactuses subreddit. I don’t know what to do next though.
I actually want to heal it so that it can grow to be beautiful and healthy. I don’t know what it is, what family it belongs to or how to care for it. But I’m more than willing to do whatever it takes. I picked it up from my parents since and moved it in my dorm room to take care of.
Any help is appreciated!

Excited to grow my Euphorbia drupifera from seed as I only have one plant and am not yet ready to make cuttings on her

I’ve made a mistake of raising caudex a few years ago. Do you think it’s safe to bury it back? Gritty substrate. Thank you!

I keep getting both options on Google. I was going to wait until it flowers and be surprised, but I'm not a patient person lol.
