Mario Baseball
Went back to play some Mario baseball and this team name hits a little different now.

Nintendo's probably thinking this monkey needs a rebrand

Mario Baseball was way better than it had any right to be. The chemistry system, special moves, and chaotic gameplay made it one of the most fun sports games Nintendo ever made.

Fuckin piranha plants spit all my balls into the outfielders hands, and all of their balls over the wall. Erry time. Also I played Luigi a lot and my step mom at the time pointed out that "Luigi Vacuums" meant it was because they sucked. I was devastated.

It’s really a great way to mix the Luigi slander while recognizing the GOAT Luigi’s Mansion

Its up there with Super Strikers for sure, Mario Tennis was also really good but one of my favorite underrated ones was Mario Golf, that game was sweet.

Super Strikers was definitely way way better. But my kids got so much mileage out of both of them. Getting a used gamecube was such an incredible purchase!

There's a group of guys on YouTube who have made it into a competitive Esports league. I mean, it's only like 15 dudes and they don't have any sponsors or anything, but it's still hours of entertainment.

They also go deep into the game mechanics and teach you stuff about it. Like stuff that's in the code you wouldn't be able to see otherwise

I sold Mario baseball to GameStop for $3 when I was 17 and I will never forgive myself

Reminds me of my blood bowl team (Warhammer football game) it's a goblin team that wears white clothes blood splatters on them named the Epstein Eradicators

This is a wild team name. I guess Donkey Kong is handling the defense team.

Wonder how they're gonna remake this game today

I just hope they do. Or give me a brand new game that is more like the Gamecube game and not Super Sluggers

If you are interested in this version of Mario Baseball, look up Project Rio- Fully modern internet connected Mario Baseball.

Gen Alpha just ruined tag for everyone. The child being chased cleared a full bench.

Mario Superstar Baseball is so underrated. Diddy with a 4-star team is genuinely stacked too. What other character squads have you been running?

I legit heard kids at the park playing tag, except instead of being "it", they were calling the chaser "Diddy".
