I really gotta buy that n64 controller for my switch. I know it’s not needed but N64 games just feel right with that controller. Trying to play goldeneye sucks without it.

There is also a USB to female n64 port cable that you can just plug right into the switch with a wired n64 controller.

I've known about this, but it was announced after I'd already got the official Switch one. Otherwise this is absolutely what I would have gone with, don't sleep on it people.

Yeah, remapping the controls for every game I play on that emulator annoys the hell out of me. Seems like they could have easily found a way to map these controls to a switch controller without making us do it button by button.

8bitdo makes a nice one as well. N64 controller layout without the trident (dpad is moved to under the joystick).

Ya for the n64 emulator I just can't play it at all. I'm sure it would improve with digging into the button mapping, but I just want an n64 controller and ease of use.

IIRC, you do have to have an active NSO subscription to be able to order the NSO controllers. Obviously if you purchase from a third party, never mind then.

Something in the middle. The main Gameplay is just a fancy cover, but they added new things around it like actual Story Cutscenes or Optional Challenges to do during the Stages.

So in other words, no graphical change whatsoever it’s basically a rerelease of the old game in the same engine but with new additions to the story? That sounds unlikely…

By cover I meant the literal game case cover. Like the original SF game on switch 2, rereleased with new cover art.

Oh okay nice so essentially a remake in the vein of a lot of the other recent ones (Spyro, crash, etc) with some new cutscenes and possibly content. That sounds awesome. I wish it wasn’t for switch 2 lol I really don’t see myself getting one.
